George Kenney's violation of parole ... pertaining to his relationship with Jennifer Buchanan and her then four year old daughter ...   was known by authoritiies in December, 2008.  Nevertheless ... Kennedy was allowed to remain free.

A parole area manager disregarded three parole supervisors' recommendations to detained this SO.  Maybe if Kennedy had been detained at the time the violation was being addressed ...

I am livid.

Grandma may want capital punishment, but Michigan is not a death penalty state.

How does grandma excuse herself? she raised crack-ho Jen and then welcomed her  back into she and nevaeh's life wtih her SO friends...
there are few of any here if any (including the good uncle) who could not have stepped in a taken Nevaeh and fought to prove jb an unfit mother... and yet now they all want to point fingers

This was posted on the breaking news article.  Absolutely beautiful!

Silent Child
by Kelly Lancor

My silent child
our precious baby,
Close to my heart
I'll keep you with me.
An important job
God has for you,
There is love to give,
and work to do.

He needs an angel
strong but small,
To shine light on many
and give love to all.
Before you go
I give you this,
half my heart
and one last kiss.

We'll miss you dearly
that we know,
But by God you were
chosen,
So to heaven, you must go

They are discussing ankle bracelets being mandatory for sexual predators, then again Im redundant but they shouldnt being getting out of jail EVER.   Screw an ankle bracelet, make them wear a pink animal collar (no offense to our furry friends).

California should be ashamed also and they should reinstate the DP here. It is unexcusable that they deny resolve to the families of victims and further their grief. Little Polly Klaas is forever in my thoughts and she and her family deserve justice.

God has a new angel and her name is Nevaeh. I am heartbroken by the news of her being found but I am comforted by knowing she is safe now in gods arms.

I can't imagine what her family is going through but at least she has been found and can be laid to rest with the respect and love any baby deserves. (not laying on the bottom of some river encased in cement)

RIP little one. I will always keep you in my heart.

If any of her family is found to be involved in this child's death, I hope they rot in hell along with Casey Anthony and Scott Peterson, just to name a few.

If it wasn't a family member, I hope they are caught and brought to justice and that rot in hell thing.

Thank you monkeys for caring about Nevaeh and all the missing people you work so hard to try and help find answers for. You are a wonderful group of individuals.

Surely someone had to see something. The road is right there. They had to be in a vehicle, and carry her and the cement down to the river bank. This could not be a very private deal, even at night. The forensics people are having a terrible time getting down that bank right now. There is not good footing. It doesn't even look like they could park a car and not be on the road. There is a barrricade that runs along there. Some one knows something.

Moreover, the fact that Neveah was taken with other children & teens reportedly having been playing & hanging in the playground, it just does not read that a stranger predator/abductor took her, especially with a reported friend of hers reportedly telling JB that Neveah was in the street playing with her scooter - it doesnt add up,  it was someone she knew.

Kennedy's g/f said she bled because of her new tattoo.  Others on here who have gotten tats have said that they barely bleed.  I am not sure if concrete mix still has lye in it, but I know it used to .  If she got concrete dust (lye) on the fresh tat they could defiantly cause bleeding?

Updated at 10:15 p.m.
Two men bass fishing on a bend of the River Raisin in Raisinville Township found the body of missing 5-year-old Nevaeh Buchanan about noon today, a family friend said late today he learned from police.

The pair – a man and his father -- noticed a disruption in the soil along the edge of the river and saw a large cement block and a chip in it, from which a terrible smell emanated.

The younger man apparently poked at the soil and saw skin. They immediately contacted police.

Investigators in white crime scene fatigues arrived at the scene this evening and remained some nine hours later, reportedly recovering evidence from what was a shallow grave along the water’s edge that had been covered with some kind of fast drying cement powder.

The Rev. Dale Hayford, senior pastor of Monroe Crosswalk Community Church and a friend of the family, said police told the family they are 99 percent sure the body is that of Nevaeh. Some additional testing will have to be done to confirm her identity beyond doubt, he said.

Ryan Bickley, 15, said his father, Guy Bickley, found the body this morning when he was by the river fishing with his grandfather around 11 a.m.

The teenager said the body was encased in a cement block and they could smell it. His father, he said, chipped a piece of cement away and saw skin and when he saw skin, he stopped and called police. The block was near the water.

Nevaeh's mother was huddled with friends at her apartment in Monroe.

A mobile command unit, which signifies intense police activity, arrived earlier this evening at the area of Dixon Road and Sullivan in Raisinville Township. Police were acting on a tip that the body of Nevaeh could be buried there.

A medical examiner truck also arrived at the scene.

Volunteers claimed to have found a clump of long brown hair, said the Rev. Dale Hayford, senior pastor of Crosswalk Community Church in Monroe.

Barricades kept traffic away from North Custer Road, west of Ida Maybee Road.

Since Nevaeh's May 24 disappearance, police have zeroed in on a few men with histories of sex assault convictions, but no one has been charged in the case and leads are dwindling.

One man, George Kennedy, 39, told a Ohio newspaper this week he had nothing to do with the girl’s disappearance. In fact, he told the Toledo Blade, he helped the girl’s mother search for Nevaeh.

Earlier in the day, firefighters from area departments sent over not only volunteers, but also equipment, to breathe new life into the nearly two-week search.

“I hope this is what we needed," said Elisa Boyer, 31, of Monroe.

Firefighters from agencies such as Monroe, Monroe Township, Ida Township and Dundee are being tracked electronically into a system usually reserved for battling blazes.

The fireTRAX program logs who searches where, then allows that volunteer to move onto another unsearched area when finished, said Monroe Township Firefighter Joe Hernandez.

“We want to help any way we can,” said Ida Township firefighter Mark Andrews, 19. “We hope to find her alive, but finding her in any way will help the family.”
