JSM...I don't think the Ant's were offered ammunity. They asked for it and they didn't get it that I know of. 

When that Lyons woman came busting in with Bozo I almost cracked up. My grandmother had a sister about her size that smoked cigars.  After the funeral one of my aunts and myself were in the kitchen and she came in the door with this big black dress and a pill box hat with a black veil down to her nose and a big old cigar in her mouth. We had to go in the woods we were laughing so hard.

Thanks Darla, I don't know why I thought they were offered immunity but didn't take it. I guess my old monkey brain is losing some brain cells.

I didn't see them walk into the courtroom, but I will go back and take a look. Those two behinds in black reminded me of my great Aunts, they didn't smoke cigars though. I would have had to go out to the woods if I had seen that. 

IIRC Conway asked for immunity and it was turned down.

I am thinking they were told that Lyon is going to use them as the defense. I doubt they would tell them the details, but I am sure Conway has been told to be prepared.  He is not capable of defending them in a serious case or charge, so expect to see other attorneys coming into the team.

I am betting they are going to NEED them shortly.

Thanks Turbo. I bet you are right and they are going to need a new set of lawyers. I bet the tension in their house is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

Something big happened before court that's for sure, watching Cindy's expressions, I believe she and George know that they are going under big time. Or, Lyons told Cindy to shut the he!! up, and there was a rumble.

I found an interesting look (angry, shaking her head NO) at about the 48 second mark on part 1 of the hearing Thursday. (watch Cindy from the 35-53 seconds mark)
Miss twiggy piggy is standing directly in front of Cindy with her back to the camera....the look is definitely for her IMO. Anyone else have an opinion??

Something happened prior to that hearing for sure. Cindy and George clearly were crying before they arrived in the court room, Cindy was still fighting/wiping back tears when she sat down.

Just watched this thanks Seeme, she was wiping away tears, looks to me that maybe LKB asked Cindy if she was okay, and Cindy said no. Just the way Cindy shook her head no. That's just how it looks to me.

My friend is not doing well....we are trying to keep her as healthy as is possible, considering her prognosis until her daughter's high school graduation Friday June 5th. It sounds like a week is just a blink away, but with pancreatic cancer, a blink might be too long. Thanks for asking.....

That's just the way it looked to me, like LKB asked Cindy if she is going to be alright and Cindy said no.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I pray she makes it to graduation and pray for her daughter.

Hi Monkeys!  Peeking in quickly, on lunch break at work.  Could be, JSM; I had not thought of this.  Another possibility is that she looked to me like she was glaring at the camera pointed at her, then realized they were zooming in for a close-up, and was shaking her head in disgust and disapproval... but ICBW, and your interpretation is equally likely IMO.

WHY haven't we seen attorneys for the media before Judge Strickland fighting for the people's right to see the video of Casey on December 11.  IMO the Judge is practically begging the media to present a case!

If I understood it right. Baez filed that new motion just hours before court and there was a "notification" problem with the press. They had not received any notice of the new motion, so Strickland had to give them time to be served.

I thought this motion about the jail video had been up for weeks if not a month or so. Why would the media reps not have been notified?
Or were they just supposed to talk about the cell phones yesterday and "introduce/produce" a death penalty laywer?

IIRC there was a motion filed the night before court. It was 15 pages long saying stuff about how the jailers in their depo said they thought it was inhumane letting KC watch the video. So I think this may be the notification problem. Not sure, though. Probably wrong.

I suspect CinCin's capacity for melo-dramatic theatrics will rival Ms. Lyon's during her time on the stand.  Between CinCin, George & Ms. Lyon, the air should be electric. All others should go to court wearing football helmets. lol  It's going to be interesting.

Electric is putting it mildly. Nuclear explosion is what comes to my mind. I wouldn't want to be in the courtroom when that woman goes after Cindy.

Very possible. Maybe knowing you are about to be plowed over by the bus changed their minds about defending her.

Could be also that Conway got some evidence to show George and Cindy that KC is definitely guilty. Does that make sense, everytime I post I get kicked out of the cage.

I think you are probably right. It was just when the whole jail video thing came up, I though Strickland said he would give Bozo 15 days to file after he picked up the video for viewing after Bozo said he hadn't even seen it. I know he drug his heels before he got it. He already knew what was there. It was his part he really doesn't want seen. But that was ages ago, and I thought it was already a motion. My bad. Things move slooooow in the Florida judicial systems. Where are our docs?????

Also, my 2 cents about Cindy's scared, deserate look in court.  I think she DID know about Andrea Lyon..from Brad and he ran down her reputation to her & George  (if Brad didn't already know about her)....and Cindy's SCARED and desperate. 

IMO...KC is/was determined to have the LAST WORD in this one-up contest...she was willing to go to the extreme by killing Caylee...and she has nothing to lose.  KC knew it was a possibility that she would get caught and was living her 'bucket list'.   Driving Cindy into the mud is part of that list.

 

KC living her "bucket list"  would explain the stealing of Amy's money so boldly, too. 

I don't know why G&C came to court looking the way they did - but I hope it has something to do with them being investigated/arrested in the near future, in addition to what another monkey suggested - that their blood money scam is in jeopardy.   We haven't seen CA cry very often - so it must be a biggie.   JMO.

But, if they are officially under investigation or arrested, would that then entitle them to not answer questions in a deposition?  Wasn't that Brad's flimsy excuse during their Morgan depositions, that they "may"  be under investigation?  Of course he totally flipped on that while on Larry King.  If, so I hope LE will wait until after the depositions are done so they won't have a loop hole.  It is entirely possible that I don't understand it right, though...
