Yes, the client that Coventry, Lunz & loosely Lyons (very questionable) were representing Mr. Jackie Wilson who was in prison for murdering an officer & yes he died last November in prison.   BUT that has absolutely nothing to do with Mr. Logan's having to have served 26 years in prison for a crime he didnt commit but Wilson did (with his attorneys & Lyons having a signed affidavit to the confession held in secret).

Thanks for the info Capp.  Oh, by no means did I intend to imply that his being in prison rather than free made their choice any less appalling!  They robbed a man of his freedom and the best years of his life. Unpardonable, regardless.  Reading my original post, I realize I should have said so.

No, I only wanted to correct the info because we've been talking about a blitz to inform media, public, etc. @ Lyon, and I didn't want the wrong info to be disseminated and propagated.  Thank you, I'm glad you had the scoop.

For the new member of Casey Anthony's defense team, the fight against the death penalty is a family affair.

Jennifer Lyon and her sister, Rachel, have teamed up to produce controversial documentaries covering media, race and their relationship to the death penalty.

In two documentaries produced by her sister, Jennifer Lyon has taken the position that the media unfairly portrays African Americans, and that stereotype contributes to people of color being dealt death sentences unfairly.

In a pair of documentaries produced by her sister, the lawyer who will lead efforts to keep Casey Anthony out of Florida's death chamber, said blacks and people of color are over represented on television as perpetrators of crime."Crime has been going down for years yet it gets reported 500 or 600 percent more because of the 24 hour news cycle and the need to feed that entertainment beast," she said.

Experts in filmmaker Rachel Lyon's documentary entitled "Juror Number Six" suggest potential jurors may be biased against blacks and people of color based on those media stereotypes, and those biases result in people of color more often being sentenced to death.

Casey Anthony is not a person of color, but her defense team has cited negative coverage as one reason to move the trial out of Orange County. Lyon said her first priority is to convince the judge the evidence is not there to warrant the state seeking death.

"All of those things are being sold as actually representative of what most African American and Hispanic people are," Jennifer Lyon said.

At the same time, Jennifer Lyon said television over represents the threat of crime.

Dominic is still MIA since he did the no show for his depo when will he lawyered up.  When will he be depoed or be behind bars for contempt?

Thought of him for my list, Northern Rose, but wasn't sure where things stood... Thank you for bringing this up.  Good question.  I for one am quite confused about what's up with him.  Is it true that one of the bar complaints against JB was filed by him?  Wonder what his standing is with LE at this point, and with the A's.  Anybody know if he will be rescheduled for that depo he bailed on?

Did you all see the recent story about the two 11-year-old girls who died from carbon monoxide poisoning, when a vehicle was left running in the closed garage (they were in the house) for a long time?  Very sad story.

Well, it made me think.  If a child were bound and gagged by duct tape and placed into the closed trunk of a car, and the exhaust pipe were to be blocked... and the car left running... (until it runs out of gas, maybe?  I dunno..) the child would die pretty quickly.  If the poor child's remains were bagged and dumped outdoors and not recovered until months later, skeletonized, would the bones reveal any traces of the carbon monoxide as the cause of death?  Just thinking.

I no nor was I implying you did by any means, just stating the fact that regardless what their client was facing, he should have answered to this murder as well saving Mr. Logan 26 years of his life. 

You asked in another post about Dominic Casey, he filed a complaint with the bar on the issue that Baez told him not to call LE right away if he found Caylee's remains & probably (not sure of this one) non payment for services.   To my knowledge, there is no word on when he will be deposed by Morgan, soon I hope!    No word on Lenny's rescheduled date either, I asked Lenny today.

I have been searching for Jennifer Lyon, I've come across a few actresses, but no way could they be Andrea's sister  for obvious facial and body structures.
