OMG Blue Moon, that sounds terrible!  I hope you get well soon!

Glad to hear your sister is doing well!

I love all the flower talk, I usually always plant morning glories and sunflowers!

Didn't plant anything this year, but some of my morning glories from last year are blooming!

Hi TM   How wonderful you have some volunteers blooming.

Sunny~  would you mind sharing your fennel and green apple salad?  It sounds really interesting.

here you go....I got this from Epicurious and everyone loves it...even those that say they didn't live fennel love this salad...I usually serve this over field greens or baby greens. And I have used all EVOO and it was fine..OK..off to the ice cream shop!!

    * 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
    * 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon
    * 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
    * 1/3 cup canola oil
    * Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    * 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and halved
    * 2 bulbs fennel, thinly sliced

vinaigrette: Whisk together the lemon juice, chopped tarragon, and olive and canola oils in a small bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper.

 salad: Cut the apple into thin slices and place in a medium bowl with the fennel. Toss with the vinaigrette and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Don't ever put me near Ouzo, Grand Marnier  either .. I have never tasted either, the smell is enough to make me put my head between my knees.
Wild how scents can do that to a person. gag

No Muffy I am not prone to headaches. But I can smell certain smells and it puts my body into overhaul. Where I feel as though I am going to pass out, get the runs out of control and or throw up --- by One Whiff .. how is that? UM I hate it. I have no clue why or how but its been all my life.
Oh three more - Spearmint of any, Cloves of any, and synthetic Cinnamon.

Real Cinnamon in tea or as a ground spice has no effect - I can tolerate.

I think I will call it a night.  Need to gargle with the mouthwash first and take some Tylenol.

Have a good rest of the weekend.

put some salt in your water " warm water" and gargle - will aid in removing toxins ..its a good detox and cleanses ..removes bad bacteria. Don't swallow it.
Hope you feel better Smile  Get good rest.
