Hey, Klaas! Are you OK? Do you have swine flu or were you just using that as an excuse to chloroform MT?

I have the flu and it's probably the swine flu.  So far so good and no real problem with chest congestion.  Mostly just fever although the fever is better tonight.  Been sick off and on since Tuesday.

Did you take Tamiflu? Have you seen a Physician?

No and No.  i do get a flu shot every year and I also had a pneumonia shot last year.  I hear Tamiflu only works if you take it within the first could days, so it would be too late anyway.  No need to go to the doctor until it's an emergency right?  Seriously, I'm OK right now..if I have problems breathing I go right to the ER.

Yes!  Usually I'm up until at least 11pm on in the forum but the last few nights I went to bed a little earlier.  It's only 9:36pm here right now 

You need to get more rest.  We can't have our tyrrranical ruler getting worse.

No, it's too late to for Tamiflu to be helpful now. OK, if you have any problems, please don't hesitate to go to the ER. Rest, Plenty of fluids, OK?

Monkeys? If you can talk your Dr. into it, have some Tamiflu on hand. Start taking it at the first sign of flu.

Klaas another thing that is good for you - You can have Hubby go to the drug store -

Tell him to pick up - Pedialyte. He can go into the baby section of any drug store and find you the cool pops. So you don't have to drink the liquid jelly goo that comes in the bottle.
They are to put into your freezer and are will be frozen sticks " like when you were a kid" ..so you can take them in - to hold your sugar and keep your electrolytes in balance.  Klaas NO gatorade, No to sport drinks, they will dehydrate you faster than soda pop. You need saline which is in the pedialyte. It will only boost your immune system .. and it will too help with body aches - and flood your muscles with fluids to reduce that ache you feel - and will aid in lowering your temp.
