How you doing tonight/this morning?

Was happily dozing at a little past 11 pm when my phone rang ... son calling, said GD had an overnight friend who got homesick & he was having to take her home to her mama, lol ... and GD wanted to know if she could come spend the night with me.  So she's zzzzz  but I can't go back to sleep!

What you doing up so early?

It seems my sleeping pattern is now when ever I go to bed I sleep for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours and wake up. Can't get back to sleep for about 4 more hours and get about 4 hours then.

I do that a lot of the time too, sleeping in shifts, don't like it.   I don't feel rested unless I sleep at least 6-7 hrs straight.  Do you think we're getting old?

oh... duh... I just realized you said he was calling from your daughter's cell phone so yes that would be him

Wonder how they will like the Texas weather.   My sister lived in Texas till she was 30, moved to AZ where it's so dry & now she can't breathe in the humidity when she comes back to TX for a visit.   She was shocked when she got to AZ & found out that it doesn't take tennis shoes 2 days to dry after you wash them there.

Yes it is. The kids spent the whole summer with us a couple years ago. Kids can handle things like heat and cold better than adults. Daughter has been in Florida and Michigan so she knows about the humidity. The dry heat is easier to handle, but hot is hot. I think the kids will be better off where they will be able to go out side and do things. If it goes like she thinks they will be here the first of Aug.

Hi Deenie - I'm feeling pretty good right now but I've promised everyone I'll call my doctor tomorrow.

I want credit for that!

I've made a discovery! Threaten to do illegal, irrational stuff, and she just falls right in line!

Yeah, but I threatened to fly out and take care of her.

I think that falls under CBB's "irrational stuff" part.    Monkey Devil! Monkey Devil!

Hope you feel better soon, Klaas.    an angelic monkey

I will be very happy when they get here, for many reasons. The kids are excited about being here. Not so much the 15 year old  Monkey Devil! she doesn't much care for the country life She is into shopping/boys, shopping/boys She loves horse's so looking into places she can learn to ride and all that.

Hi Trimm..

I tried calling the doctor but nobody was there yet.  I have to wait about another 40 minutes.  There always the walk in clinic too.  What I want is for my doctor to prescribe some tamiflu or whatever they are giving for it without me going in.  If I go in I expose them to it plus myself to any other things out there.

Not too bad today but still not right.
