Gary Dee Lawless?
Or I don't see here listed as buried at the cemetary
only as Gary Dee lawless' mother

hmmm something weird there.  whoever listed the obit did not want to list gary dee lawless as a son.  why not? maybe the hospital he was in was a mental institution?  ?  well at least we have more names to add to the genealogy, I will add them in today and see if we can find more conected to them.

who are you trying to find there?  his mother?  betty sue?  she is listed as betty sue lawless in the cemetery records, she's on the cemtery list which was posted and highlighted in red you will see her as "mother"

or are you looking for someone else?

I also pulled all the genealogy reports from this thread and copied them over to the GENEALOGY thread so they will all be there together and not get lost in this thread.  they are all on page 3 and titled De Berry Texas . 

if you are looking for someone in particular over there, just go to the page, click on your edit button on your toolbar, then click find, type in what you are looking for, and it will go exactly to that person on the page. 

there is a total of 3 pages of genealogy over there, covering all the lines in reports, showing exactly how everyone is related, who they marry, who are parents, all the descendents etc, so if you want any info on any of the lines, you just go over there and use the edit/find commands on the 3 pages and you will find them.  then you don't have to be scrolling through all these 100's of pages of posts to find someone.

There is a Joseph H. Lawless (born abt 1860) who is the son of Cinthia (Zenia) J. nee Keaton, who was married to Francis Marion Lawless, son of Thomas Byrd Lawless who was married to Zelphe Zina Keaton.  Also, Doyle name shows up as the maiden name of Ronald Sutton Lawless' mother , he was married to Elaine C. Bevilacqua.

okay she divorces dee lawless april of 1969, and marries strickland jan of 1970.  then in 1973 she marries robert damas.  let me see if I can find a divorce from strickland and one from damas.  Maybe she went back to the lawless name before she died.  maybe someone in the damas family wrote up the obit and did not realize gary dee lawless, son, even existed?

hey, don't feel alone about getting confused.  I get confused and I have a database program I am using to keep this sorted.  I can't even imagine what it is like to just come in and scroll these threads and try to figure this stuff out.  I tried that at first but just got way too big to keep all of this stuff in my head ugh.

Funeral services for Mr. Gary Dee Lawless, of Carthage, will be
held Thursday morning, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hawthorn Fueral Home
Chapel. Rev. W. D. Leggett will officiate and burial will be at Panola -Mr. Zion
Cemetery.

Mr. Lawless, age 41, passed away in his home Tuesday morning, April 18.
Born in De Berry on December 30, 1947, he was the son of Dee H. and Betty
Sue Shadowens Lawless.  He was a boiler maker in construction work before
becoming disabled due to an auto accident.  Lawless had lived most of his
life in Panola County.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Betty Lawless of Carthage; two sons, Lance
of Overton and Bruce of Nacogdoches; and on brother, Steve Lawless of Carthage.
