I think it does Memphis and I also like Klaas, wonder if AG realized the ramifications or even the complexities of what she was being swept up into in the beginning. She is pretty young and she also seems quite blindly loyal to her homeland. She also posts on her own blog with a fair measure of aristocratic airs  Wink

I do however think Stratten could have led her where he wanted her to go, or certainly greatly influenced her in ways that were not always so obvious to one so young........

I agree that she didn't really know how big things were at first. I also feel that she got scared (maybe).

yes...but she would not have made that post i think if at the time she knew how closely involved vanderstratten was...in Nats disappearance..when it became an obvious ALE cover up.....how could she get out of what she had posted in seemingly honest effort to provide local info?

Wow!

So, was ag helping at first until she realized that van der Stratten was involved in the coverup?
I'm trying to process this new bit of information.

She was certainly helping in the begining, I didn't know what changed things. Did you ever read the MAJORWAGER site posts?

Yes I did read some of them.

Another post about the different Max's which I think seems correct.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

lorenzo is old news. there are two max, ahrendz and arends, one joran's age and nephew of jossy and one older, more like lorenzo's age. lorenzo may have ben questioned early on and his house searched with negative results. noboy who has looked carefully at this thinks lorenzo is involved. max the younger is jorans school friend who was questioned as a witness. paulus then asked lorenzo what the cops asked him and relayed the info to joran. that is why he got into trouble.

Anna,

Max Ahrends and Max (Maxito) Arentz are two different people. Max Ahrends is maybe 18, Maxito is older. Maxito supplied the alibi for Lorenzo Van Rijn.

It's unfortunate that the two names are so similar. Causes a lot of confusion.

Nite FOM.

Thank you so much for the pictures Florida. I did not know you were in Aruba. Those were great.

Thank you Klaas for posting the picture of Lorenzo.

Thank you None for telling us AG's neighbor.

Good information, and yes, it has been long enough and it is time to spill it all.

FOM-

When we have adults far older than she unwilling to tell the truth, I think we could not expect AG to tell anything she discovered over time either. Seems the lay of the land in Aruba, to keep secrets.

OT

Nonesuche, I added to my vocabulary tonight and thought I would use what I learned in a sentence.

There is a poster with a certain propensity for sparkling accessories, but that poster is BHNC.

Well, since everyone brought up the Simian thing again...here goes..

Simian Says: June 22nd, 2005 at 5:03 pm
The party-goers said the 5th one was with them. He was the host. How could he have left?

Who gives the parties?  Lorenzo.  Why did ALE question him early on?  Because he gives the parties.

The important “others” are the ones that supported the alibi.

Now, who are these "others"?  The people at the party.
