Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I haven't been here for a while new grandbaby was born 7/8/09 7lb6oz girl Kyra Elise..I am overjoyed! I wanted also to let you know that I saw Marie's plea on Twitter for someone with info to come forward so I sent her private message on Twitter and got her phone number. I passed along info that my f.daughter had and I can see that even though Marie thanked me on Twitter for doing so, I am still getting bashed on certain sites for NOT doing the right thing. As this is the only board who's opinion really matters to me I did want to let you nice folks know that I have done all I can. I think maybe because Marie is still asking for info people feel like I didn't do my part, guess they don't stop to think that she wants ALL the info she can get, not just the little I was able to give! Take care everyone, I will post soon when the newness of my baby wears off, right now I'm busy loving on Kyra! God bless Haleigh and may Marie get that one tip that will bring her home!

Haleysnana ~  You were not the person that had the first hand info.  You did your part by encouraging the person to go forward with it.  That was the best you could have done.

Regarding Marie still looking for info.  I am sure that there were other's besides the person you know that had seen Misty out that night.

I hope someone else comes forward with a SOLID clue that will help with this very sad case! Wouldn't it be wonderful if 1 clue was all it took to bring this baby home! The info your f daugher had could have been first hand.  There must have been another person to also witness this first hand.  I don't believe that Misty was BY HERSELF.  Take a look at this comment from Marie's twitter account.......

Reward is $35,000 for information leading to an arrest of person giving information of accounts the night HaLeigh went missing. Anonymously!

It was a mistake anyone of us could have made.  Hearing that statement being made after waiting for 5 months for some news, could have put anyone of us in the same position.

I am sure it never came to thought that the other Haylee was the conversation.

A sincere honest mistake and she should not be judged so rudely about it either.

I have a few questions too..  Did the foster daughter move out of state?  I think if misty were aout  that night it would have been after 11:00 pm, so the only way to know that misty was out, was to have seen her somewhere.. and that time of niht it would have to be a convenience store, or like a fast food location.

Cobra responded to a callers question that it has not been proven that Ronald robbed a drug dealer. More or less brushed that rumor off as just being a rumor.

But Cobra did say Ron's way of life in the streets could have caused what happened to HaLeigh very easily. And that Ron would somewhat responsible.

The way I understood was that Johnny Merchant was the Lead Investigator....and Peggy Cone was working the Missing Persons end.  Now that Johnny Merchant is working with the recent murders, that leaves Peggy Cone as lead investigator. 

I am assuming that Peggy is lead since it still is considered a missing persons case.

Heart, not to dispute your post, but I know many of us have wondered WHY Peggy was now the lead....and not knowing prior that she was working the missing persons end of it.

Hey Mlee the info that was given my fdaughter came from a girl at work who obviously has the same dealer as Misty and it was even told what a small amount of coke she bought due to not having much money! I think that is the MAIN problem,that anyone who saw her out was buying drugs themselves and don't want to admit to that! I don't see these young girls as wanting to come forward and say yeah I saw her at the dealers house! I hope the girl will not deny it when confronted, but I'm so afraid she will JMO!
