Sunfreak,
MsMarple & I have been trying to think of something to do for the Yorksters and am so glad that seems to be taken care of.  You can't go home and take care of all of them as your surgery turned into more than you bargained for.   Sad  Just some temporary help until you are on your feet will mean all the difference in the world.

I am so glad they have finally allowed you to have something by mouth, good sign, isn't it?  I hope you will continue to improve and be back home with your little buddies and sleeping in your own bed really soon.

Remembering you in my prayers daily!

Update on SunFreak: Had solid (soft) food for dinner Wednesday p.m.; pancakes for breakfast Thursday a.m. Surely this is a good sign?

Sunfreak, we are all praying for your speedy recovery.  I am glad you got that nasty NG tube out and are beginning to eat.  Those things are wonderful when needed, but boy what a pain!  

Great sign that your diet is being advanced.  I am so impressed with Peaches, Ms. Marples and the Atlanta monkeys for keeping us posted.  Just leave it to a busy person like Peaches, who has her own needs, to get things done.  These monkeys are amazing.  Ms. Marples, Shadow and Peaches, you are saints!  I know Sunfreak will love you even more for tending her needs.

Good to hear the furry babies are being cared for in some manner, but I know the sight of their mother returning is what they want and need more than anything.

Take advantage of those home health nurses and let them tend to your wound VAC and other needs.  You need and deserve it.

Thought all of you would get a kick out of this - when I talked to SF today, we were discussing organizing "help" for her when she is discharged from the hospital.

She thought maybe we could enlist the Gottenbos!

Seriously, the less she has to do, the better, for a couple of weeks.

Sounds like SF IS feeling better and getting back to her old self.  I would be afraid she would be disappeared also if any from Aruba came around. Shocked
