It's normal... I still have 62 unidentified remains/bodies in my folder from California alone dating back to November of 2007. I am sure there are even more that I do not know about/didn't read about/missed news report, etc. For each day I can remove 1 from my folder for learning an identity, I add 4-8 more of newly found remains. This Country is literally littered with dead bodies and human remains. Many of which will never be found...let alone identified if/when found.

Hi Nut,

Do they check all these remains against perhaps parental DNA to rule out missing children?  Or other missing people?  Or do they just sit somewhere...

If the jewelry is real gold the rings could be specific to a particular jeweler. That would narrow down their search.

I collect vintage and antique jewelry. Unfortunately this jewelry is common. Hopefully a family member will recognize the photos.

Tracygirl,

It only happens when I use the quote feature... like now it is not doing it.  But I do not see this ripped piece of paper that you mentioned.

I agree about the victim being a mother, if in fact that jewerly belongs to the victim.  I thought I read that they were certain it was a male skull?... idk.  I can't imagine anyone missing a family member and not recognizing that jewelry.  Have they posted these pics on the news? I haven't seen anything related to this find other than what has been posted on here.

2 skulls/same general area. The skull with the apparent bullet hole belonged to a man and the second skull belonged to a woman.

I have Verizon and pressed 82# notta..nothing
I press 82* notta nothing
I press 82 notta nothing..

So it has to be hooked up to press 82 to call voice mail ?

I am not sure..

It would appear somebody would have to have the knowledge to call 82 in order to get to voice mail.

Human Remains Identified As Missing Man

Posted: Jan 15, 2010 02:04 PM EST

CHERRY VALLEY - Skeletal remains found in the Cherry Valley area of Riverside County have been identified as those of a 70-year-old Ventura County man reported missing last summer.

The Riverside County authorities on Thursday determined that the remains are those of Walter Dohrn of Ojai.

Authorities say there were no signs of foul play and the cause of death is pending.

Dohrn was seen on July 5 as he left a residence in Cherry Valley about 8:30 p.m. and the next day a witness reported a man matching the description walking toward Interstate 10.

Several searches failed to find Dohrn. His remains were found Jan. 10 by off-road motorcyclists.

Does verizon prompt you to input a password to get to voicemail? I have Metro PCS and we have to put in a passcode, prior we had ATnT and it did not, I just pressed 1 and off I went to voicemail land and to my messages.
I guess I am trying to figure out what *82 has to do with this? Was that her old passcode?
