Yes it is. I realize the attempts were not teenagers, but the fact that is is close to Escondido, and February...makes me wonder.

One thing I know is we don't know what these freaks think. I have read that the preference can change and alter after time. Who knows, with it being close by it could be related.

I am off to bed, I pray there is good news tomorrow and this girl is found safe and sound.

The park is supposed to be a safe plan to jog, walk your dog, as opposed to doing so on the sidewalk on the streets where you can be targeted easily, now you can't even do that because of the kind of people who go there where they aren't supposed to. Hopefully they will find her foot prints before the rain washes it away.

I read somewhere that Chelsea plays the French Horn in the Symphonic Orchestra, does anyone remember if Amber plays any instruments in any kind of organization or has private lessons?

I don't know about that, hopefully someone else does. I read Chelsea is a peer counselor and also did some kind of tutoring. did Amber know anyone in the Poway area? Did she have any friends that had connections to this area? Does Carrie, moe or Dave have any connection to the Poway area?
I posted this on the other thread but what I find a little odd is Carrie and Chelsea's mother look similar, the same type of look down to a similar hair color. Don't know if it means anything but you never know I suppose.
Carrie if you are reading this please make sure your investigators are communicating with the Poway investigators. There are similarities between the two girls. I read they found a shoe and was taking it to Chelsea's parents, if it is not hers maybe you can ask to see it too, just a suggestion.

You could be on to something Tracy, maybe Amber's mom dated someone in high school that maybe Chelsea's mom dated in high school, maybe its an ex-boyfriend, or somebody who had a "crush" on both mothers, and he was nonetheless turned down by both of them and to make a comeback, he takes revenge on their daughters.. who knows.. sounds like a scary movie, I guess I shouldn't go there but someone has to.

I was looking for any new news on Amber and came across information about Mickey Guidry who has been missing in San Diego Co. since November 27, 2009.  He's listed as an "endangered runaway". I haven't had much time to look much more as far as details and location but reading this article in East County Magazine http://eastcountymagazine.org/node/2826

Mickey enjoyed Future Farmers of America (FFA)
(Snipped from above)

Maybe FFA is popular in SD County?  IDK. I live in the middle of nowhere in OH and I've never heard much about it.

Here's his NCMC poster: http://www.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PubCaseSearchServlet?act=viewChildDetail&caseNum=1137889&orgPrefix=NCMC&seqNum=1&caseLang=en_US&searchLang=en_US

I will start a thread if there isn't one already when I get a chance, I'm having company for the weekend so lots to do...
I started a thread for Mickey here: http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=7255.msg1084240#msg1084240

Similar looks of mothers.. Auburn hair fair skin.. Similar looks and size of girls.. small

Similar as both families had been living in the area for a short period of time.. Amber was only in Escondido for 1 1/2 years.
She went to 8th grade and then entered high school.

Amber was a loner but had acquired a couple of good friends..

Not similar is this One girl athletic and One Girl Not.
Amber was an avid reader.

Carrie has been at our border 2 times this week checking on sightings that people call in of a possible live Amber.
So far nothing has checked out but I am always amazed at how far and where Carrie is willing to go to find Amber and the devil himself had better be on Notice, as she is Not a mom to be messed with.

Similarities between the two cases

Both girls in High school

Both girls have the same bangs style

Both abduction in November (one year apart)

Both Abduction Location sites have senior facilities next door or across the street.

Have they checked to see if there is a  person has worked at both places. A male caregiver I think would be used in cases where the patient has to be lifted?

Good catch, you are right. another simularity is each girl went missing during a normal everyday routine.

Edward I am not sure if personality traits would play into an abduction that would be assumed to have a sexual motivation. I would think it would be more based on physical qualities (?), (for lack of a better word)

There's more, they found a sports bra, panties, and one shoe. The person providing this information is part of the search team with Tim Miller. Here is the primary link for this information. http://stephww.wordpress.com/2010/02/28/ca-search-day-1-chelsea-king-im-live-on-the-scene/

Going back to my post about my first day as a gum shoe. The River village Apartments are senior as well as the Quail creek Apartments. Both are next to Escondido High School. Then we have the WWW.meadowbrookvillage.org a retirement community for Christian seniors. This is an Assisted living nursing facility very high end.

I also thought about Mortuaries. Seniors die and Transport specialist pick up bodies. There are two Mortuaries in Escondido. California Funeral Alternative on 1020 E. Pennsylvania Ave is a Poway/Escondido Mortuary. Something to note: they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. What better place to hide a body then a closed Mortuary. Easy disposal when finished.

Sorry to sound so morbid, but better to search now then wait till it's to late.
