We just may unknowingly pass each other at the Torchlight Parade.  Youngest son's Dutch American inlaws who reside just across the border woke us up this morning with a call inviting us to join them for a drive and and overnighter at Seattle relatives.

 

Hubby is watering lawn and plants right now and ... I have already packed us a bag ... phoned visa and obtained extended medical. We will wait another 30 minutes and wake one of our neighbours up with a call from us requesting that Brandi is taken care of.

The only downside is that son and DIL arrive home from vacation tomorrow morning and ... rather than us picking them up from the airport ... it will be our son-in-law.  I was looking forward to hearing all about their trip over breakfast at some nearby restaurant.  Hubby says that next week is soon enough.  Men!!
