I wonder if Lane's missing time frame corresponds with the child molestation accusations in Lewiston & Clarkston???  Seems unreasonable to this monkey that the church "has NO records" .

Harless, John Paul (Unaffiliated)

John Paul is the grandson of Richard I. and Alberta (Harless) Perdue. He was saved and then baptized by the Liberty LMBC Modesto in December 1975. He surrendered to preach in March 1992. He was called to pastor the Palmdale MBC in 1996 and served them for eight years. He then was called by the FMBC of Traskwood in Traskwood, Arkansas where he has been from 2004 to the present. This is the church that had the court case over New-Light doctrine. He is married to Tereesa Miles and they have four children.

Harless, Richard A. (Old State)

Richard was born in Soper, Oklahoma, June 4, 1920. He was saved in Oklahoma in 1939 and baptized in the San Pablo MBC building in 1946 by the Brentwood FMBC, Ted Cooper pastor. He married Alberta Cooper January 3, 1946 and they had 4 children, two who are MB preachers.

He answered the call to preach February 18, 1946, and was ordained a week later by the Castroville MBC. He attended the Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute under Brother Hunt and the Mennonite Bible College in Fresno.

He pastored the following churches: Centerville MBC; Castroville MBC; Centerville second time till it flooded out; Airport MBC in Modesto; Liberty MBC in Modesto and Shiloh MBC in Bakersfield.

He was very active in the Old State Association and held many positions in it. He was a leader in the work. He was a veteran having served from 1941 - 45 in WW II.

Harless, Richard II (Old State)

Richard the II was born September 16, 1947. He saved December 9, 1956 and baptized the same day by the Airport MBC in Modesto with his father, the pastor of the church administering the baptism. He was called to the ministry November 1964 and was ordained be Airport MBC July 11, 1970.

He pastored the following churches: New Hope MBC in Oroville July 12, 1970 to September 3, 1975; Denair MBC January 1, 1978 to 1988; San Fernando 1989 to September 16, 2000.

He died September 16, 2000 while still pastor of the San Fernando church.

All three churches did very well under his leadership making progress in all phases of the work. He was still a young man with so much promise. He had served as State Moderator and many other positions.

Harless, Richard III (Old State)

Richard the third, is a young man that surrendered to the ministry a few years ago. He is a son to Richard the second and comes from a long line of MB preachers. Shortly after surrendering to the ministry, he was ordained by the Liberty MBC in Modesto and accepted the Hughson MBC as pastor. He was with them until 2006.

Harris, Henry (Left Landmark Work)

Harris, Henry Henry Harris attended Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute in the early 1980’s and received his Bachelor of Theology degree in May of 1985. He was a missionary of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in San Jose, California. He started a mission in Morgan Hill, California, with a weekly Bible Study in October of 1984. Their first Sunday service was in January, 1985. By February of 1986, the New Hope Church withdrew their endorsement of Brother Harris due to a drain on their funds.

Brother Harris and the mission in Morgan Hill were taken over by the First Missionary Baptist Church in Oakley, California. In September, 1987, Brother Harris led the mission members to join the First Missionary Baptist Church of Gilroy, California. He became the pastor of that church.

Brother Harris was a State Missionary on designated funds for the 1989 - 90 association year. In 1990 at the Messenger Body Meeting, Brother Harris gave a report that indicated he did not believe in Church Perpetuity and had led the church to receive alien immersion.

The Messenger Body asked Brother Harris to meet with a council of brethren in the Salinas church. The counsel did not convene, and Brother Harris led the Gilroy church out of Landmark work. Missionary Baptist Churches supporting the Mission had given many thousands of dollars to build the Gilroy church. Later, the church disbanded. No accounting as to the sale of the property was ever made public.

Who is this guy? and what happened to him?

Lone, Connie's father:
Washington churches October 1956 to June 1968

Connie and CLL were married in 1960 -- there is some connection to Washington churches, no matter what she says.

First Church of GOD - Clarkston Washington
Where alleged abuse occurred in the eighties

Lone, can you double check this again?  If this is not a Baptist Church then it's probably the wrong church.  Could it be First Church of God Baptist Church?  CLL is definitely a Baptist and the "Church of God" is another denomination.

((edit - per request below))

NOTE - THIS WAS THE FIRST REQUEST I RECEIVED FROM THIS PERSON TO REMOVE THE INFORMATION

You got the wrong MBL - I know this is tough to realize, but some people have the same name. Different person, same name. Strange, huh? http://www.sermonaudio.com/source_news.asp?sourceid=mbl
