Lala's, you've made me giggle.  It's convoluted and not really important, but I'll try to recap.  When we were discussing Lorenzo's basement, someone said they'd like to see pics of Lorenzo's basement.  Someone else speculated that maybe the pics of the two guys partying in Aruba were really taken in Lorenzo's basement.  (Big leap here)  This sent us all off looking at the pictures again of the two guys trip to Aruba in 2004 where they partied with some locals in an afterhours place.  Brian, one of the guys, said it was a bar named Echo.  I really don't think there is anything more than that to it.

Dunno, think I saw post a ways back that Lala's said she thinks Shango is still here posting on the forum.

I was waiting for her to clairify it a bit.

Not really, memphis.  We're just rehashing the same stuff.  We've all said it before.  It's really just a waiting game--waiting now for someone to talk or the de Vries program to break something open.

Just jump in some stranger's car and get driven off to who knows where in a foreign country, with no concern at all about your safety. Because you met them in a bar, they are automatically OK.

Evening monkeys...tonight I am just going to sit back and relax.  What's the topic for discussion?  I didn't see any basement in those photos, did I miss something?

Well by basement....the place where the party was happening , painted all wild colors, no windows. If you read the diary Brian, the guy who is writing talks about being driven to a place where the party is, and then when they went there the next night un-escorted by the people they were with the first time, they are dually kicked out......those were the basement pics I think that were refered to. Last night we did see a pic (had been posted in the past) of LVR.

After leaving Grammies (around 4:30am) we decided to head back over the the ECHO afterhours club we were at the night before and see if we could meet up with some of the crazy ass locals we'd met the night before.

We got to ECHO and found it filled with drunk, crazy-ass locals, unfortunately, none that we knew. On the first night, we showed up with a posse of locals so everyone was cool with us, when we showed up solo on the second night (and no one there knew us) we were treated with outright suspicion. In the middle of our first drink, an tiny drunk guy in his late fifties came and sat down at our table. What started out as polite conversation quickly turned into him screaming at us about "Imperialist America." We managed to set a record for "drink finishing" and escape without incident.

Yeah, it's stories like this that make you shake your head and wonder how many people survive their youth.  Obviously, some do not.

Thanks AZ and others that tried to help my feeble mind...I see it was just a maybe thing about it could be or what if scenario.
