Yes it was. Dr G reported in her initial findings that it was undamaged.

Casey Anthony's parents in court Friday

Casey Anthony's parents will be back in court Friday morning trying to prevent the release of Caylee Anthony's autopsy.
Brad Conway - attorney for George and Cindy Anthony - told ABC's "Good Morning Amercia" that his clients want to keep the autopsy report out of the media's hands.

"They don't want to listen to the constant speculation over the next year about what is and what is not contained in that report," Conway said.

Conway said releasing it would cause great pain for the Anthony family. Therefore, they argue the autopsy shouldn't be release to the public until Casey's trail.

Media outlets, led by the Orlando Sentinel, have argued that it is public record and should be released.

The hearing starts at 11:00AM. We're told Casey Anthony will not be there.

Turbo I agree that the pupae recovered will tell many secrets.  I wrote a post some time ago about the three stages of maggots to fly, timeframe between each stage and generations.  They basically are what they eat and if there was drugs ingested they should show up via maggots.  Not sure how to pull up old posts but if someone is so inclined it may help with this discussion.

I am ready to see the bug reports too. I think there is going to be some definitive forensic evidence in them.

I tend to think it was all the way around her head. Otherwise HOW would it have hair entangled in it? Her hair would not have been in her mouth.

WTH are they so afraid of??? I hope by this time tomorrow night that we will be talking about the autopsy reports and figuring out what this is all about. I don't think that Strickland is going to seal the autopsy, but I didn't think he would seal the jail tape either.... Don't listen to me.

I think it was too, Turbo. I actually think there was more Duct tape found on the scene that we haven't been privy to. I think it was more than just on her mouth. It probably covered her nose too. I hate to even type that.....

maybe thats what they don't want us to know.  imo that would make all the difference to me.  yeah, the whole thing is twisted but the mouth/head thing brings in a lot of light.

Do we know for certain which type of Power of Attorney Cindy had/has ?  If only limited, then it was drawn up to carry out one specific transaction in Casey's stead - no doubt the mortician had to have a legal signature in order to proceed. 

If Durable - then Cindy has the legal power/right to act in Casey's stead forever, making decisons, and in control, without legally having to consult with anyone;   Be careful when/if you grant anyone a Durable Power of Attorney, for then you have lost control.  Only someone trustworthy should be considered.

Owing to the fact that Casey doesn't have the brightest bulb for a lawyer, it is hard to say. I'm gonna guess it was limited. With the hatred between the two camps, surely even Bozo would be careful about that. And remember, Conman didn't even present the Power of Attorney to Strickland at the time of his motion. Strickland just took his word for it. Plus the fact that he filed his motion to the SA instead of to the Media. He has already cut him a lot of slack, too much in my estimation.

There is also the possibility that Caylee was gagged with something in her mouth, besides the duct tape on her head.
