Be aware, these pictures are guaranteed to make you smile!  Very Happy

They are Jazmin the girl and Ace the boy.  They are chihuahua terrier mixes that should be about 12-15 lbs full grown.

We got them on Saturday and WE LOVE THEM!!
I just had to share with my monkey friends...
Enjoy!

They are just as cute as they can be!  It's so great there are two of them.  They will play with each other instead of engaging in other less desirable mischevious behavior.

Thanks Peaches!  I really think they are getting cuter everyday!  We were worried about getting both and while it is alot of work I really think it will be good for them in the long run.  Playmates for life!

Congratulations Hubbylove! They are adorable.

Here's my two-cents to add to what Anna gave you....

1. Be aware that vaccine protocols are changing, but many vets continue to vaccinate just like they always have. Humans aren't vaccinated every year for the rest of our lives, and our pets don't need them every year either. Rabies, unfortunately, is required by law, but none of the other ones are.

Here is a link to Dr. Jean Dodds recommendations for vaccines (she has done lots of work in this area and has a company called Hemopet)

I like how this website has it layed out ~ very simple
http://www.parrishill.com/id41.html

2. Feed them a species appropriate diet. We all, including myself, bought into the idea that kibble was good and good for their teeth. Well, it's not. We don't it just bagged, processed food, why feed it to our pups and kits?
If you do feed kibble, be sure that the first five ingredients do not include grain or any by-products. You can find all kinds of information on the net about feeding. Yahoo has a huge group called k9Nutrition. There are some very knowledgeable people on there.

Be sure you feed them some fresh foods, like green beans, apples, yogurt, etc. I would feed mine raw meat and bones, but if that is too big of a leap for you, try canned sardines and mackeral (without spices) for a treat.

Good luck and enjoy them!

I'm not sure if that preview url works. Here it is again...

or just goggle for Dr. Jean Dodds+vaccine protocols

Congratulations Hubbylove! <snip>

Thank you SO much for the info Memphis.  Right now we are feeding them an organic kibble and may begin introducing other foods to them soon.  None of the first five ingredients are any type of grain.  They like it and so far they are looking really good.
Their behavior is starting to make me a little nuts with their constant running in circles and play fighting but its fun to watch.
I'll post some more pics soon.
Thanks again...
