More on the circus, both from TMZ.com

Neverland Ranch -- Where's the Potty At?
Posted Jul 1st 2009 7:01AM by TMZ Staff

In preparation of Michael Jackson's body returning to Neverland Ranch for a public viewing this Friday or Saturday, a truck full of porta-pottys dropped off its first load late Tuesday night.

Jackson's Death Sparks Hotel Frenzy
Posted Jul 1st 2009 8:00AM by TMZ Staff
The list of people who stand to make a profit off the death of Michael Jackson is endless -- and now you can add a few local hotels to the mix.

We spoke with the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn in Los Olivos, Calif. -- which is located less than a mile from Neverland Ranch. They tell us that once news hit Jackson's body might be coming to Neverland, they sold out in just 20 minutes! They are booked up solid from Thursday until Saturday.

We talked to two other hotels nearby and they say the same thing -- sold out.

In death, as in life, Michael Jackson is doing things with fairytale extravagance.
The singer's body will be transported to his funeral in a white carriage led by two horses, instead of the traditional black vehicle, it is understood.
His body will then be placed on show in a glass coffin at Neverland, to give fans a chance to say their personal farewells.
The coach and coffin fit Jackson's obsession with children's stories such as Peter Pan and the fantastical style of his Neverland ranch.

WOW Northern Rose, you have been all over Canada!! Those pictures are beautiful. I love the one of the deer in the woods. I have only been to Niagra Falls and that was in early April and it was mostly frozen. HAPPY CANADA DAY TO ALL CANADIAN MONKEYS.  an angelic monkey
Morning.  Glad you like them.  I have been very lucky to have travelled a lot. Looking for some Nunavut images worthy of putting up.
What is Nunavut?

I asked that very same question when I lived there.  ROFL.  It used to be part of the NWT but they split it and it became it's own territory.  The capital used to be called Frobisher Bay and was renamed Iqualuit when the new territory was formed.  Nunavut is basically Baffin Island.  Only way to get stuff in in by air.  Makes things exceptionally expensive.  This is where we had the polar bear siren that would warn everyone to stay inside if a Polar Bear decided to wander through town.  This is also where I learned fast to make almost everything from scratch as butter was over $4lb, a can of coke was $2.  2l of milk was $8.50.  Though you get a northern living allowance it comes no where near helping to pay for the crazy prices and things takes weeks to get there if you can get them at all.
Oh I see now, it's a place. I thought it was some kind of crazy food item like poutine.

What is poutine???

Cheese curds and gravy I think. Not sure if that is correct though.

Oh, I thought it was like boudin.

NORTHERN ROSE, you have made me feel guilty for not baking more, and even though it is the middle of the summer, I am making homemade french bread to go with our spaghetti tonight.

Has anyone heard about the python killing the child in Oxford, Florida?

I shouldn't make a joke, but I wonder if he has been overwhelmed by the news about MJ?

I thought he was from California.

There has been no more news I have found. There is a big problem with pythons in Florida right now. They are not native to Florida, and are believed to have been thrown in the wild by owners when they got too big. Now they have multiplied. I thought the problem was in southern Florida, but I guess not. Oxford is in Central Florida.
