Gosh when I was 10, I looked 5.  I was so short when I started 7th grade I could still wear a size 6x.  Oh yeah, the red and blue taffeta ones!!!  And since they still fit, there was no reason to waste them, right???  NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Braggert. I wore Sears Husky Jeans when I was 10 and my sister was then and got to wear Red Snap Jeans.    Tables have turned now though. Gosh I am aging myself.

I have grown into the plus sizes myself. I still have a baby face, at least that's what hubby says. He still calls me "Chickie Baby" sometimes too. Latin devil that he is!! Now you all know all my secrets.  Monkey Devil!

I am going to bed tonight too. Miss Kitty is anxious for me to go watch TV with her. I can't begin to tell you all what you friendships mean to me, Especially, JSM. I am afraid we would all need an intervention if this thread got shut down.

Good nite, ya'll. And from the bottom of my heart, God Bless!  an angelic monkey

Nite Fannie.  I feel so very fortunate and blessed as well to have this thread and the friends I have made.  It stops my heart from hurting when I really need it.

Have a good evening monkeys.

Good night, TRIMM.   an angelic monkey

Do you ever sleep?

I had to login .    Of course.Never get a full nights sleep.Haven't for years.
Hubby has his sleep times mixed up lately after sugery.
If I get 5/6 hours I'm good.

'Nite for real this time.

 an angelic monkey

Nite Fanny.  I am gonna have some apple pie, watch the dog find the right blade of grass to crap on, then go watch some tv myself.
OMG I just about fell out of my chair reading that Northern. Happy Canada Day. My neighbors are cooking out and I told them Happy Canada day and they were like WOW and to you too.

Thank you so much JSM.  I hope you liked my pictures.  It was hard finding ones without someone from my family in them.  Yup the dog and his nightly "business".  He truly walks back and forth sniffing the same blade of grass 3 or 4 times them over to the other side of the year sniffing 3 or 4 times, them back to the the first blade of grass.  Not so bad in the summer when it is nice out, the sun is up.  I tell you though when it is winter and he has to find the right flippin piece of snow to crap on and it takes him over 30 minutes I want to give him an enima.  He will not crap at night unless I am out there watching him.  No performance anxiety for him.

OMG NORTHERN ROSE!!!!! I am doubled over laughing and Miss Kitty is looking at me like I just lost my mind.

My sister made fun of me because I got a bra in the third grade cause of my big ones. She always would say "I get to wear pretty bras". Now she is having to buy the ugly ones at Nordstroms. I love her to death, but pay back is hell.  an angelic monkey

Good Night, Northern Rose. I hope you had a good day with you mom.  an angelic monkey

We had a great day.  Helped her going through the garage getting stuff ready for her garage sale .  That was emotional as not really spent time in there since my dad died.  Ate well, laughed lots and visited.
I'm glad you had fun with your Mom Northern. JSM

Sorry Monkeys, I know y'all all voted for Patton as my music to skate to, but now I am thinking Bridget Jones. Here is the music by Patrick Doyle. I have always wanted to skate to it. What do you think about this? TIA JSM

I am dying right about now Northern, Josef has to check his pee mail, then do circles around a patch of grass until he goes. We can walk for miles and then get to the spot we started and he will bump his behind against a dang bush and go.

Thanks again for all monkeys coming to my cage. And thanks again Bearly for giving it to me and other monkeys to rant. I hope we get to stay here.  an angelic monkey JMO JSM  an angelic monkey

You guys,my friend next door just told me that a guy she dated years ago has cancer in his kidneys.I felt so bad for her.She had been crying.
I then told her the first guy I ever dated in high school passed away in a VA hospital last weekend.I just found out 2 days ago.I always wanted to talk to him after we broke up and I never did.All these years gone and never got to clear the air between us.I was crazy for him at the time. Now it's too late.
So to make this all go together,I told her if she had things to say to him,she should find a way before it's too late.I hope it doesn't get the mess beat out of her by his wife.

I have been in a funk lately.  The man I had been engaged to passed, I have known this for about 2 weeks.  I always thought he would get himself together and we would then be together.  I have been very upset.  I know how she feels.

Oh BEARLY, I am so sorry.  an angelic monkey

Sometimes life really sucks. Especially in love life. The ones you like, don't like you, and the ones that like you, you don't like. It happens over and over. I always seemed to attract the weirdo's like a magnet. And I was always attracted to the ones who were bad or had problems. Thank goodness I finally came to my senses.

Oh the heartaches! I am sure the pain you are feeling is worse that your back pain.   an angelic monkey

We both loved each other very much.  I left because he was allergic to alcohol, yes allergic to it.  Good man, good job, great fiance as far as making things around the house, keeping the place clean, very romantic, had good friends, good family, never missed work, good looking, tall, dressed well, bought me all kinds of clothes, jewelry, my engagement ring in beautiful (he made me keep it), everyone liked him, babies stopped crying when he held them, everything you could want.  He got very jealous when he drank.  Never hit me, just ranted.  I would not put up with it.

He planted a tree when we were breaking up.  The leaves are heart shaped.  He told me it was our tree and he would leave it there to remind me he loved me.  I drove by the other day, just to check on it, heart leaves are all over it.  It just breaks my heart.

My back and my heart hurt in different ways.  My back is jumping all over the place right now, it looks like I am twitching.  It is definitely on the upswing.  The doctor said I would feel better in 2 weeks.  It is very hard to not push it.  I am going in Tuesday to have my arms done.  I am hoping to be better in a couple of weeks.  This will be in the doctor's office, if it is the same as in the past.  I know I am just being impatient.

I had company again.
Now Bearly is gone again.
I agree with you guys.I feel like MJ did have some iappropriate behavior.
Then there are the family issues.
Then there's the drugs.What a mess.
The thoughts of an abused child bothers me the most.I just have a hard time getting past that.

Me too, and also all the weirdness around his three kids, and the masks he made them wear.
That always bothered me too. But I read somewhere today I think it was the Daily Mail, that he was freaked out by the world. That he wanted LMP to go out a back door of some hotel when they were married and she high tailed it to the elevator. He thought she was gonna be kidnapped or something. His body guards found her in a bar sipping a martini. He was pararnoid beyond belief and I am sure his lovely family upbringing didn't help. The man was a freak, he needed help. He didn't get it. Whether he was a pedophile or not, I can't make that call. JMO JSM

There is the problem.

This is not about MJ, or people who can afford it, but our Mental and Behavioral Health care sucks.  We really need to do more to help people who need it, and force insurance companies to pay more towards their care.  People should not lose their houses because they or their children need help.  I see it all the time.  It is unfair.

Bearly, ITA on this. My insurance covers "therapy" up to $1500 lifetime. So that is about hmmm 4 visits maximum? That also includes "physical therapy, not just mental. So if I busted my knee (knock on wood) and had to have therapy, they wouldn't pay because my insurance paid for previous physical therapy up to that amount and if I had a nervous breakdown, it wouldn't be covered at all because I have met my lifetime maximum for "therapy". BUT where I live, there is an agency through our Diocese that has therapists and psychologists that give their time on a sliding pay grade for anyone no matter what religion, etc. JSM
Bearly, I didn't know I hit the bold button, please don't think I am yelling at you with this post.  an angelic monkey

Caps are yelling, you were not yelling.

Thanks, JSM, I always left my heart open for him.  In a very small way, I feel free to now move on.  I hope that small place opens wider each day.  If there is any good thing for us in his death, he is now free and knows he could always trust me, I never lied to him or cheated on him.  I have forgiven him.  The second thing, I am not in limbo anymore.  That is good and bad.

My heart has never been in the dating game since I left.  I didn't leave for anyone else.  I left for us.

That was good advice though to your friend. I didn't no the guy I dated in high school had died, until I got my invitation to my 5 year class reunion, he died in jail

I don't know whether to laugh or cry....
It was a strange relationship. The jail part didn't surprise me, that he died, that surprised me. We were two lost souls, that hung out together. And he loved Johnny Cash.
I'm sorry No Rose about your friend.  an angelic monkey

Thanks, Trimmy, it starts with a Mom who told him his father was dead, and all his friends and family knew the truth, all except for him and his brothers, his father's mind never made it through the war.  He was in a mental institution and was put there not long after he came home.  His Mom told them when he was 18.  His first wife died from brain cancer, he took care of her all the way through, bathed her, fed her, walked her, she lived longer than the doctors expected under his care.  He did all this in spite of the fact she cheated on him more than once.  The women in his life betrayed him.  He had a hard time believing I wouldn't.

Cats are so much easier.

I really do miss having a dog. I have had one almost all my life. But with four temperament cats, I don't think this is the right environment to bring a dog. Unless it was a real feisty dog, and I don't think my Chi could handle it!

Where did you get that picture of A-1?

Bearly sometimes those trust issues can never seem to be resolved. That is why so much of our world seems out of control. If parents could only understand that one of their primary responsibilities is to establish basic trust with their children. It would change many lives. You tried your best but the past is difficult to erase. I am sure this is causing emotional pain which always makes physical pain increase. I am sending prayers for you
for I know how precious you are to the Father as well as to all of us. an angelic monkey
