Nice happy story from Iran.  These are Iranians that worked in the Embassy, not the British Embassy staff from what I can tell. Just an aside: Not sure if all monkeys know this, but the clerics of Iran HATE the British, even more than they hate the Americans because Iran was once a British colony. Just a little side note to this story. JSM

A top Iranian cleric said Friday that some of the detained Iranian staffers of the British Embassy in Tehran will be put on trial, and he accused Britain of a role in instigating widespread protests that erupted over the country's disputed presidential election.

The announcement by Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati alarmed European nations and fueled calls for tougher action against Tehran. Britain is pressing for members of the European Union to pull their ambassadors out of Tehran to protest the arrest of its embassy staffers last week — a step that the EU so far has hesitated to take.

What a mess    Have a good time at the rink. Everything turned out fine at the vet. They suggested getting a big crate to put Zoe in during the fireworks  and I thought okay, but are you coming to my house to put her in the crate

Try that at my house and your azz is gonna get bit.

No way would Zoe get in a crate, and if we got lucky to get her in there, she would be howling, I said I'll think about that, please can I have more of her anxiety pills? Probably your little Digger would try to dig out of a crate, at least you would only need two small crates, we would have to have a huge crate taking up a room

Fanny     I have to go to Walmart later, and there is always one huge person riding around in a scooter, must be one of the rules at Walmart  That store drives me nuts, one day I asked if they had windchimes, and the clerk looked at me like I asked her to solve the world's hunger problem

Oh,what about all those people that stand in the middle of the aisle having a family reunion.    My little sister is the worst.
It's like I'm on a mission when I go in.My favorite time to go is 5:00 in the morning. It's great cause there only a few people there and the shelves are fully stocked.

Oh that's for sure, I hate summer, it gives some women the thoughts that they can go shopping exposing a great deal of flesh, and I figure when you are way plus size the spandex shorts, with the varicose veins is not a good idea  But that's me  I don't wear shorts, because I have some veins on my right leg, which I even got treated two times and they still came back. Also, please don't wear some of those tank tops that are meant for a teenage girl's figure
Why do they even make bikini's in sizes large than 8, or tank tops, or short shorts? It just encourages people to think that they look good in a 24XXXL tank top.

I will confess, you can not call me trimm-on-anything...but I know what I can wear and what I can't/won't.  I do have some self respect.

Ahhhh Walmart.  Can't go there as there's never a place to park.  My son calls it "the devil's playground"  Monkey Devil! and throws a fit if I mention going there.

We expect a full report on how they took your IOU.

Glad you made it back safely Fanny, slightly scarred but safe none the less.

Me and your son would get a long just fine.
If he ever went before daylight he'd never be the same.

Well, I can tell you the IOU didn't fly at the vet this morning    I like to think of Walmart as "the freaks and geeks playground" I can't figure out why I never see the people in Walmart at the other stores where I live

If you are ever depressed and need a good laugh, drive to your nearest Walmart and sit at a bench in the front of the store and watch the world go by. You will never worry about your own body image or wardrobe again.    Monkey Devil!

   Great idea.

Okay, Northern one the Grand Prize last night guessing quotes from my #3 guy, so how about it monkeys any guesses on who is JSM's favorite #2 guy in the world? The quotes are listed below. No cheating by going to Wiki.  Monkey Devil!

"I am not worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself."

"Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first."

"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles."

"I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born."

Give us another hint...is he a TEXAN?

Ours doesn't open until 7:00, it's like some people don't realize they are not the only ones shopping, hogging the aisles, chit chating, fighting, screaming at the kids, kids whizzing by on those shoes that have those skates on them. One day a kid on a bike, everywhere I went there was this kid on the bike. Go back to the bike dept already.

That's how I feel, no way am I going bouncing around in some inappropriate top, I have self respect also. It just blows my mind to see what some people wear, where I live in the summer someone in a bathing suit prancing around in a store with a little cover up isn't unusual.

I won't do that to them.
The worst I've ever done is buy two of those long extending gates. They had a 14 x 10 area by my den. They went crazy.Digger chewed through a brand new gate.Next time he got over the gate and turned the recliner over and pulled all the cushions off the couch while Taco watched. There was no way Taco could get out.
when I got home I was like     WTF   Monkey Devil!
