BTW JSM, I know all about sewing spandex, but I have never designed a skating dress, not being a Fashionista myself. But I do know a little something about fitting for someone over a size 2. Just thought I would throw it out there for what it's worth. I don't know much about designer brands either. It's mostly a Fanny Mae brand, but I have never made something so ugly that I wouldn't hit a dog in the azz with it. (That is a southern saying, BTW.) I never paid more than $25 for a diaper bag, and I had one that lasted through four kids, and several gradchildren. JSYN.
I even have a pattern for it Fanny. Nothing needed to be "designed" just sewn together. Fanny brand sounds wonderful. I will send you the pattern picture if you would like. Empire waist that covers up JSM's jelly belly.  Monkey Devil!
i have a sewing machine but NO idea how to thread the thing...i wanted one forever, bought one at a yard sale..(it's mint green and has a handle)...needed a needle for it...called my g-maw and she said something to the effect of honey, that thing will burn your house down, it has to be 40 years old...so when my g-paw passed this year she gave me one of hers...she has the fancy computer kind...i ship it to someone who can thread the dam thing... Monkey Devil!

Hi Mamacrazy...Happy Birthday (oh dear Lord...please let this be the right Monkey)...I've had two glasses of wine tonight..wayyyy over my limit.  Anyway, I learned to sew on my Mom's mint green Brother Sewing Machine.  I still have it.  I have been wanting a computerized machine for quite a while.  I would love to thread it for  you

I am outta here, going to get my 6 pack BBL.

I do not have any beer, and that's the truth.

Well, you better get in the Witless News Van and hoof it down to the nearest place that sells it. I refuse to sit here and drink without you here. I had to go replenish my supply, right after the breaking Dolce news.

I am usually prepared for such things.    I can remember times I have looked at my mom and said"You just can't make this chit up" during a crisis around here.I was wrong, apparently some people can.   Monkey Devil!

I have two, one is a treadle and the other one my tv in my bedroom sits on. It is probably from pre WWII era. I wouldn't know how to use it if it threads itself. I do watch sewing shows on PBS though.  Monkey Devil!

I'm sick of being nice, I just sent another email to our association, telling them the stupid letters you are sending to the parents to stop their kids from destroying our properties is pointless, their parents, either can't read, or don't care. I also told them that if they don't stop the man who is welding in his garage next to oxygen for their baby, and stop him soon, I'm going above them, and then something might get done. I told them I don't feel like dying by some kind of fiery explosion, because some moron doesn't have enough sense to stop welding by oxygen.    I'm on a roll now.

This is pathetic....I am the 49 year old version of Bridget Jones........two and 1/2 glasses of wine, 4 ciggies, 1 bowl of corn flakes, 1 slice peanut butter toast....and I just went to the freezer and got out 3 yes, 3 chocolate/cream cheese cupcakes.....Dear Lord, please bring me a life!

Oh, 3 chocolate/cream chees cupcakes! It would go perfectly with beer. Hubby was on his own tonight. He had a whole can of Campbells Chunky Sirloin Burger Soup with crackers, and milk. Did it himself.....I'll make it up to him tomorrow.
