You know (or maybe you don't) that I'm not a bragging person.  It's 73 beautiful degrees here, we haven't had a day over 80 in a good 3 weeks.  Just sayin' because when winter comes, I'll be complaining and you all will say "why do you stay there?"  This is why. 

If it never got over 78 degrees here I would be so happy.The humidity is bad in the south.
I love the time of year when college football starts,and then you start to get those crisp mornings.The lake gets quiet after a long hot summer.You can just lay back in the grass and let the sun shine on you and listen to the leaves rustling.
Crack open a cold one around mid afternoon,and grill some wieners.     
I gotta stop now,before Fanny knocks me out of the cage.

Being in that horrible heat that our soldiers are enduring and the fear, it doesn't surprise me that some would desert, but of all places to go find oneself, that doesn't make sense. I don't know how some of the soldiers especially from Vietnam War and this war, probably any war, how they don't have mental issues either during war or when they come home. So if he deserted does that mean that the country will not try to get him back. I don't know a lot about these topics, so I'm curious. Because even if he did desert he still was protecting our country, and maybe he has mental issues. I feel very badly for his family, and I hope there is some resolution.
