Thank you for posting these PTLB, especially the article on the evidence you are not allowed to see as it is very informative. The mention of the drug testing, the discussion between the lab and the medical examiner and that benzodiazepines, which was a test run on Caylee, are used in child pornography and sexual abuse of children gave me an ill feeling. I pray that the test was routine but I now have doubts.

I do feel that the state has damaging evidence to convict Casey, though. They just seem to be quite confident with what they have, to me. I hope my feeling is right.

UPDATED: 7:23 pm EDT July 21, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's attorney has repaid a bank for checks Anthony is accused of stealing in an apparent effort to put off her check fraud trial.
According to a letter from Bank of America dated July 10, defense attorney Jose Baez mailed the bank a money order to reimburse them for funds Casey Anthony allegedly stole. A bank official said the bank has no intentions of dropping its criminal case against Anthony.

Surveillance videos from last summer allegedly show Anthony making purchases with stolen checks. She has pleaded not guilty to charges that she stole her best friend Amy Huizenga's checkbook.

Baez sent a money order for $664.25, the exact amount Anthony is accused of stealing.

The defense team is no longer commenting publicly about the case, but Local 6 reporter Mike DeForest said based on court documents, it appears that Anthony's lawyers may have mailed the money order to the bank in hopes of getting Anthony's check fraud case postponed until after her murder trial.

In court documents requesting the delay, the defense points out that Huizenga has been reimbursed for the theft by the bank, and the bank has been reimbursed by the defense.

"There is no urgent need to resolve the alleged check forgery case," the defense's court filing said.

Meanwhile, the state attorney's office has requested the transcripts from a sidebar conference between the judge, the defense and the prosecution during a March court hearing in the murder case against Anthony.
At that hearing, Judge Stan Strickland ruled that the defense was not improperly profiting from book or movie deals.

The conference was held in private but was recorded by the court reporter.

Strickland granted the prosecution's request and the court reporter must provide a writer transcript of the conversation by Thursday.

Anthony is charged with murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

The Evidence You’re Not Allowed to See

by Wendy Murphy
<snipped>
Even when evidence has been made available to the defense, it will continue to be withheld from public view if disclosure might "jeopardize the safety of a... witness," including the defendant, or "impair the ability of a [prosecutor] to locate or prosecute a codefendant." Translation:  If Casey's family was threatened by other people involved in Caylee's death, as Casey's mother has said and some of the evidence suggests, these exceptions would kick in and most of the evidence would not be released prior to trial.

Even if there were no threats and nobody else was involved, the vast majority of damning evidence against Casey would still be kept secret under another broad-sweeping exception adopted by the Florida Supreme Court, which provides that evidence in criminal cases can be withheld from the public "to protect the defendant's Constitutional right to a fair trial." In short, almost every piece of evidence that proves Casey's guilt need not be shared with the public prior to trial.

This doesn't mean we can't glean certain bits of information from that which has been released. But we have to think about the case with a heavy emphasis on what isn’t being said.

Hope, help fade for the missing
Cases grab the spotlight, but resources for finding missing children and adults dry up and fade away as money and interest wane.

snipped:

Anthony case made impact
Sherri and Dennis Milstead, founders of Kid Finders Network, learned it first-hand. After the Milsteads volunteered in Caylee's case and featured her photo on their mobile billboard, the couple received harsh criticism.

"We took such a beating from the case in Orlando, it really put a hurting on us," Sherri Milstead said. "We're still being trashed over it."

Today the Milsteads' billboards are parked. Kid Finders, she said, doesn't have any money.

snipped:

Several months after Caylee was reported missing, her family organized a foundation in her name.

Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, said they launched their nonprofit to help families understand their rights and provide them with information on the resources available to them.

"We basically had to figure out on our own what to do," the Anthonys said via an e-mailed statement. "There is so much going on that they do not know what to do or who to trust. We had no idea what community resources were available to us, or what our rights were."

The Anthonys' goal is to help families get emotional, financial and spiritual help.

Well, in Palm Beach County - go to the official records.. the Milsteads house was foreclosed on. Funny there is a Bernard Rosenbloom lien holder who is affiliated with Sapir Corporation, 12659 Majestic Circle, Boynton Beach, Fl. There was a balloon mortgage.. Read the documents very interesting. The one i'm looking at is Records Book 17787, Page 1249 and you can look it all up.
There are a few mortgages and very few satisfactions.

Then the Milsteads filed an emergency motion which was denied by the judge in Palm Beach County to delay the auction of the property because the Milsteads were filing bankrupcy.

It is my thought that the Milsteads put all their eggs into the Kids Finders Basket which protects them from bankrupcy is that possible?

They owe everyone and this bankrupcy would dismiss the TON of judgements against them. It's been stated they like to buy and not pay.

I think this is something that should be forwarded on and some research done on this... So here is your heads up.

Hi Gang...
THIS IS GREAT NEWS!)!

L xxxxxx,

Kid Finders along with others will not be participating in Our Kids World August 8/22 and 8/23/09.
We have added some great new features to the show to freshen the event... so we had to make a few cut-backs.
Several businesses/companies were cut-out.

Thank you for your email.

Jennifer S. Cartwright

This is Our Kids World site and I believe they are reworking the Exhibitor page as I'm pretty sure KFM was listed on there previously.

Thanks Tupelohoney and Trimm for the updates.    It is interesting about the Milstupids.   I'm glad the truth is coming out about them and I hope they remain miserably broke.  They need to slither back under the rock they came from.

Interesting that they are C&G's good buddies.   Says a lot about all of them, doesn't it.

Thanks for keeping me posted with what's happening in Palm Beach County. I spoke to the state attorney's office yesterday. I heard there is a big chunk of documents that are going to be released soon. I'm expecting something to be released next week. The spokesperson has to go through the stuff first and I know she is working on it.
Hope that helps.

Good Morning Monkeys and guests.  an angelic monkey

Thank you TUPELOHONEY, TRIMM, PROTECT THE LITTLE BABIESfor all the thought-provoking articles and and documents.

Can't say as I can feel sorry for the Milstupid's not being able to get out with their schemes and money making rackets to look missing children, when they have never looked for one that I have ever seen.

Driving around a signboard is not like a missing child is going to be drawn onto it like a magnet sweeping the neighborhoods. At least they have been able to afford an a/c truck to pull it around in and have a nice fishing boat and motorcycles to tool around in and maybe snag a missing kid. How that all computes is a mystery to me. Awww! THey are broke and the home has been reposessed, all because the are looking for missing kids.......I can hear the whining now.

ISPY, what a great thing to do to study handwriting. I have tried a time or two, and never made much headway. I think you are a lot smarter than me. Let us know what conclusions you come to.

More motions in the Zenieda Gonzalez civil case I see. Maybe things are creaking along, after all.

Good morning Monkeys
Wow!
Thank you PTLB,for this article from Wendy.
Has anyone else here read it?Very informative,I like how Wendy said this:

Quote
A Florida judge released the autopsy of murder victim Caylee Anthony on Friday. Her grandparents, George and Cindy, had asked the judge not to release the report until trial, claiming it would cause the family "great anguish." (I'm wondering why they didn't max out on anguish when they learned the child was dead.) Maybe the "anguish" claim is cover for a different strategy: keeping the autopsy from the public so the Anthonys could continue their charade of stories about how a mystery "nanny" person kidnapped the child. Now that the autopsy has been released, we can finally be certain the "missing child" nonsense was a distraction.
