When Lyon had to submit her credentials, or what ever it was, for the court to agree to her being on this sorry defense team, it should have been mandatory that she also include that she would be unavailable for the October trial date. Before she filed her papers, she was standing on the court house steps stating that the trial would not happen in October. This is all intentional stall tactics and I'm fed up with them all. IDK, but maybe Stan is hoping he will be retired by the time this case does come to trial. Where is the justice for Caylee? This little angel paid the ultimate price and no one seems to care about that.

Let's just hope that Amy will go for a speedy trial. She has every right to do so. And then maybe Casey can wait out her days in a prison cell until her defense team gets finished playing the stall game.

I hope she does go for the speedy trial.At this point,it wouldn't surprise me if Lyons tried to get bail set.These people make me furious.

I guess Skanky doesn't mind it too much in Jail. At least she is out of Spindy's earshot....Nanny, nanny, boo-boo!

Two things stood out to me.....Nozo was not too happy to see Kathi there.  And he showed total lack of respect for the court by showing up with and opened collared shirt and no tie.

Casey created her own little world, and seemed focused on death and sex....

As a mother who raised 2 children, I can NOT comprehend how Casey, a mother of a 2 year old could spend the hours and days looking and downloading such tragic images/icons. Caylee never had a chance with Casey as a mother.

I sent an email the the head of PR...I got the "auto reply" that she's out until Thursday.  I then forwarded my original email to
two more contacts she listed. 

I will give it a few hours, then place a phone call.  I just can't let this go.  I am very emotional in my gratitude toward Cleveland Clinic and their level of compassion for both patients and families.  I can't tell you all how amazingly wonderful that place is.  Every single employee at every single level of that hospital is filled with a spirit of compassion unlike any I have seen.
From the nurse who stayed beyond her shift one night to show my brother how to surf the internet, to the maintenance worker who walked me to the correct elevator (I swear it was at least a mile), to the doctor who held my hand when he gave my brother the initial diagnosis......

Oh, Numbersgirl!  I'm sorry you had to go through all of that.  Bless your heart!  And bless you for caring about Caylee and all the children at the Children's Hospital.  You're sa wonderful person!  God bless you!

Desi-thanks for finding that info on Patrick Bourgeios.  I wonder why it was not on the file I downloaded?  Hhhhmmm.  Anway, did we ever find out who this guy is?  And did Mike Walker go to Casey's high school and run track/work with the track team (as she alluded)?  TIA!
P.s.  I hope you're feeling better.

I know this one - there were two different case numbers and booking numbers.  I think the Patrick visit was on the Booking Number: 08034750 was the original child neglect, false statements and obstruction.     08042346 -  was the fraud booking number.

Casey Anthony October Trial Date Cancelled

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The October 12 date for Casey Anthony's first-degree murder trial has been cancelled after a Tuesday morning meeting between the defense, prosecution and the judge. Eyewitness News was the only media at the meeting at the Orange County courthouse.

Defense team member Andrea Lyon told Judge Stan Strickland her teaching schedule would prevent her from being able to go to trial in three months. Judge Strickland cancelled the October 12 date and scheduled a status hearing on the first-degree murder trial for January 21.

"So, I'll go ahead and strike that October trial date and we'll set this status slash pretrial in January," Strickland said during the Tuesday morning meeting.

Casey Anthony is accused of killing her young daughter Caylee and dumping her remains near the Anthony family home.

Additionally, the judge said that he wants an affidavit from Amy Huizenga showing she wants to invoke her right to a speedy trial in the check fraud case that the prosecution wants to move forward on. Casey is charged with stealing her friend's checkbook and buying personal items with forged checks.

Lyon, the defense's death penalty qualified attorney, also told Judge Strickland that she plans to file several motions after Labor Day, but details of those motions were not given.

This comes as no surprise    ....thanks tupelo!!

They all laugh and I think Linda says a "wonderful person", and the prosecutor to her left say "lovely person".........
Why did Bozo have to even bring this up......I know he hates Kathi, but this is just inappropriate IMO.

Bozo had a little discussion/debate about "going to look at some pictures" with the State as well, but not sure what pictures they are talking about....maybe the tattoo, because the fraud case against Amy Z. was discussed right after this, and her right to a speedy trial. Strickland wants it on record that Amy "requests" a speedy trial before he makes a decision on when that trial should begin. Lyons says she's working on her motion for the check fraud trial to be put on hold until after the murder trial.....she hopes to be finished with it soon....blah blah blah

Baez is one smartazz! Totally uncalled for remark directed towards Kathi. 

Lyon requests that the hearing be held on Thursdays or Fridays. Stan goes and checks the calendar and comes back with two Friday dates, the 22nd and the 29th of Jan.. Lyon jumps in and says, can we make it the 21st? Stan agrees. What do you want to bet, she will change that date again? 

They were talking about the Pinellas County criminal courthouse!!!  I would be one happy monkey if they moved the trial there!! It's only 25 minutes from where I live!!
