It does state the payment is not considered "in lieu of prosecution" by Bank of America.

Sorry to backtrack here but I just finished catching up.
Looking at Desi's post #1150 which has pix of writing samples of '03 (from the diary) by Cindy, KC, and George, IMO it was soo Cindy! If you look at her "3" it looks weird and shaky like she tried very consciously to change it; but the dead giveaway for me was the apostrophe before the "0"--hers was IDENTICAL to the one in the diary.

Just to be fair, I must point out that the "apostrophe" in the sample I created from Cindy's written statement was actually a small lower-case letter "L" -- I tried to find a line about the same size, with no cross marks (like an I or a T, for instance).

George's was a comma.  I believe Casey's was an actual apostrophe from her statement, or it may have been a comma, can't recall.  (It was late-thirty a.m. when I pieced those together.)  I myself couldn't decide, so I called the results inconclusive.  I could make a case for any of the three.  But Cindy was the only one who fairly consistently curved her horizontal lines like that.

And Cindy is on video, somewhere, stating that Casey is a writer and she, Cindy, was going through her journal to see if she could find something in regard to Caylee.

I don't think I knew that until reading that doc today.So Baez thinks because he paid the bank back that there won't be charges against casey for stealing their money....not true though.

That is too strange that a person educated in law would "think" because there is restitution that they will drop the charges.  That is up to the DA, not the bank regardless of whether they were paid or not.   My money is on the SA continuing on with all the charges.

I have always believed they ALREADY KNEW.  They were in cover up stage already asking those questions. I believe Cindy was worried KC lost that ring burying Caylee. (and maybe she did)

I like how cece said goodnight to Caylee and told her we will be waiting for justice for her no matter how long it takes.  Makes me imagine that she is waiting for justice, and we are staying right here next to her, waiting with her... I like that.  Reminds me how Fanny sometimes talks about looking up at the moon and stars at night, like Caylee loved to do.

I am here a little late, and I guess most of the monkeys have left. Another day of waiting for some news, some movement. This is life and the way things go. But at least we are here, although Caylee has been gone for over a year. We have had more tragedy's and deaths, and more missing children. Each is more painful than the last. But we are still here for you Caylee. We will be here. Even if things go for so long that some of us pass on to be with you, there will always be someone to be here for you.
