While they are all at the party, ooops I mean funeral, Debbie will file a bunch of motions.
And while all the LE will be supervising this insanity, the criminals will have a field day  Why this stupidity is going forward I would have no idea, but oh well our state is doing great financially

Looks like a great day for a crime spree.

SWAT Team to Escort Jackson Body
Posted Jul 7th 2009 8:00AM by TMZ Staff

We've just learned law enforcement has launched a plan to escort Michael Jackson's body from Forest Lawn to the Staples Center.

The plan calls for a "heavy motorcade" with the LAPD's SWAT team as part of the escort.

There is also a contingency plan to helicopter the body to Staples if there's an issue of safety.

We're also told approximately 100 people will attend the private memorial at Forest Lawn -- mostly family members. After the service the plan is to follow the body to Staples.                      (SWAT TEAM  )

When I heard SWAT TEAM,I was like    What a mess. The taxpayers are gonna go crazy.

None of this makes sense at all. Bury him and get on with life, no need for this, but if the Jackson's feel the need, pay up, don't expect us tax payers to pay for nonsense like this.

It wouldn't bother me so much NoRose if the taxpayers weren't being faced with the burden.
I would have opted for a quiet private service.
The Jackson's should be paying for all this security.IMO

A lot of money for nothing, the schools need help, a lot of employees hours have been cut, passing out IOU's because the state is in such a hole.

Relative to the amount of money MJ's party ( this isn't a funeral or anything like that, it is a performance ) today will generate for his family 4 mil is a small amount of cash.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Michael Jackson may be buried without his brain so coroners can do further testing!

Health officials issued Jackson’s death certificated yesterday, but not cause of death was identified. Rather, the cause was listed as “deferred”.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter verified that at least part or the whole of Jackson’s brain has been retained for investigators to continue testing. When they have finished all neuropathogy tests, they will release the tissue.

Doctors will examine Jackson’s brain to determine the cause of death, which may be linked to painkillers. The tests can also reveal previously undiagnosed diseases, evidence of alcohol abuse or whether Jackson had suffered overdoses before.

It appears that the Jackson family will have to bury his body this week without his brain, as it must “harden” for at least two weeks before doctors can finish the tests.

It is not uncommon for a brain to be held by cororners and then reunited with the corpse after it has been buried.

Quick question- Do the Jackson's realize life is not a performance?  I am greatly concerned for those children.  No one pays any attention to little Blanket, not even his sister & brother for the most part.  Seriously, the fact that he was clutching a doll of his father at the memorial really worried me.  That the kids looked bored with Paris fidgeting with her purse and Michael I examining the overhead lights until Janet pushed Paris forward for her "part" sent major red flags up for me.  The sunglasses were overkill, as was the large-brimmed black hat.  Seriously, I think these people have an over-inflated view of their self-worth.  If you loved the man, then sincerely grieve him.  Don't have a public memorial and hide behind your sunglasses.  I'm sorry, but the whole thing was such a show, sooo contrived.  Talking about Michael spreading the message of the Lord- which lord would that be?  Drug abuse? Cosmetic surgery? Artificial insemination and naming the children after me, so I can out reign Elvis? Money? Fame?   Al Sharpton, you better read that Bible (as in all of it) because God is not mocked-Whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.  Michael Jackson is nowhere on record professing Jesus as his Lord and Savior, nor did anyone (family, friend, staff, etc.) ever attest that he did so in private.  The memorial was nothing more than an attempt to: whitewash Michael Jackson (no pun intended), fortify the racial divide Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson need to stay in business; and promote the Jackson family's ego (at the expense of his children).  The children appearing was merely the ace in the hole, the piece de resistance, the prize for attending.  If I were Debbie Rowe, I'd be fighting like mad for custody of those children.  To the Jackson family, they're trophies to put on display and idolize because they belong to Saint Michael.  JMAO (just my angry opinion)

MJ to be Buried Wearing One White Glove
Posted Jul 9th 2009 2:00AM by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson will be laid to rest in pure MJ fashion -- as in he will be wearing one (and only one) of his favorite gloves.

Dorothy Gaspar -- who owns Gaspar Gloves in L.A. and designed gloves for the "This Is It" tour -- tells us La Toya Jackson wanted Michael to wear a glove inside the casket. Turns out La Toya chose a white leather glove Dorothy made for Michael 10-12 years ago -- a glove covered in Swarovski crystals.

Dorothy tells us she was informed of this yesterday by Michael's stylist -- Michael Bush -- when he picked up 20 green gloves she had made for Jackson's dancers.

Well, it's over. Except for people who knew him creeping out of their slug traps to tell all. I don't expect any homicide charges, there is no smoking gun. They might get some doctors for over prescribing but this was going on behind closed doors under the radar for many years. Anyone who was close enough and who had access to his private bedroom was part of the problem and they will all keep quiet. If they don't they would be setting themselves up for charges or a public stoning by MJ's fans. He wanted these drugs and treatments and he got them. We are regular persons here and we probably don't get it just because of that. And don't want to.
The kids will either be with the Jackson family or Debbie Rowe. No good alternative exists here.

Michael Jackson’s doctor Arnie Klein claims star had an addiction
By Beth Hardie, Mirror.co.uk 9/07/2009
Michael Jackson’s friend and dermatologist Dr Arnie Klein has admitted once giving the star a strong sedative and claimed the pop star had been addicted to drugs.
Speaking to Larry King on his CNN chat show, Klein said Jackson was once a drug addict but he came to Britain to dry out.
“Michael at one time had an addiction,” he said. “He went to England and he withdrew that addiction in a secure setting.”
He also said the Thriller star had a “huge tolerance level” when it came to drugs – typical of an addict.
King asked him if he knew whether Michael was taking Diprivan – the anaesthetic believed to have been found in his house by investigators after his death two weeks ago.
Klein said he was aware Michael used it when he was on tour in Germany to help him sleep and that an anaesthetist was administering it to him.
“I told him that he was absolutely insane,” Klein commented. “You can’t repeatedly take it, because what happens with narcotics, no matter what you do, you build a tolerance to them.”
Despite being shocked that the drug was reportedly found in Jackson’s home, Klein said he wasn’t surprised as abuse of the medication was “not unheard of”.
The doctor, who has written a book on heroin addicts, also admitted “occasionally” giving Jackson the powerful painkiller Demerol to sedate him, but said it was after he was burnt whilst filming the Pepsi advert and suffered serious hair loss after contracting Lupus.
The inflammatory disease causes the body’s immune system to attack its own tissues and organs, including the skin, heart and lungs and Klein claims 50-year-old Michael was a sufferer.

Lupus attacks can be painful and unrelenting.
My friend who has lupus was always concerned what was happining in her brain or if anything was happening. Plus some of the meds she was taking,
anti inflammatory ( cortisone / steroids combos ) have their own  drawbacks on a person's long term health. Each person's symptons and course of this disease is different.
I just saw on LKL that they are waiting on the coroner's report. It wouldn't be a big surprise to me if "undetermined " was the answer. Same as Anna Nicole Smith.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Michael Jackson's Brain Will Tell Stories About His Life

Posted on Jul 09, 2009 @ 05:15PM
Renowned pathologist Dr Michael Baden has exclusively told RadarOnline.com that tests on Michael Jackson's brain could unlock many secrets about the performer's life as well as his death.
An examination of Jackson's brain is part of the forensic examination still underway. "The brain is like a database and these tests will reveal a lot of information like if he was beaten as a child to any small tumors or previous overdoses that he may have suffered," Baden, who recently conducted an autopsy on David Carradine, said.
"The brain results will determine if he was given improper medication and how authentic statements provided by his physicians were."
As the world waits for the toxicology results that will determine the exact cause of Jackson's death Dr Baden believes that they will not be released until the brain analysis is also complete, a process that can take "around four weeks."
It is possible that Diprivan in itself caused him to die, Baden said. "It can slow down breathing and causes blood pressure to fall and a person can die as a result but all the other drugs also mentioned like Demerol, Morphine and Methadone can also be lethal if taken in large quantities.
"It is going to be very interesting to see what all these results tell us about the precise condition Michael Jackson was in."

No rose- thanks!  Every time I see those children, I get angry all over again.  I read an article tonight (my mistake) talking about how his children are his legacy.  Yes, they literally are...intentionally being named after him.  I'm sorry, but the fact is, he didn't even have the decency to give them their own names.  IMO, he was trying to recreate himself (or the self he wanted to be as a child, but wasn't allowed to be thanks to Joe Jackson).  I think he viewed those children as an extension of himself, rather than recognizing them as individuals.
Looking at his ever-changing facial features last night, the thought crossed my mind that I think he was actually trying to look like Disney's Peter Pan character.  The long shaping of the nose and creating an angular chin from a rounded one...studying the changes, my mind's eye brought up Peter Pan. That fit in with Neverland and Michael's sort of Peter Pannish behavior.  There is something about Michael's smile (in most of the pics on major networks) that makes me feel uneasy and distrustful of him.  There are major incongruencies between his face, his voice, and his overall demeanor. I wish I could put my finger on it.  When I think about how trusting children can be-all this makes me feel sick.

One more thing...every time I come across an article stating that his children were home schooled, I want to scream.  Homeschooling is where children are taught at home by ONE OR BOTH OF THEIR PARENTS.  Michael Jackson's children were tutored-taught by a paid teacher.  Big difference!  I wish the media would get their terminology right.  I read an article tonight, floating the homeschool issue and reiterating typical homeschool fallacies (children not allowed to play with neighborhood children, isolated from others, "unsocialized", etc.).  What a crock!  I know many homeschooled children (25 families) and I can spot them instantly because they're outgoing and unintimidated by adults.  They're comfortable talking to people of all ages because that's who they've been socializing with.  As for the isolated at home part-yeah, right!  *sarcasm intended* These children are doing soccer, gymnastics, competitive swimming/ice-skating, LEGO competitions, musical & dance recitals, plays, choral groups, historical interpretations at museums & battlefields, etc.

Did I mention that I really hate biased reporting?
