Al Sharpton wants a National Day of Mourning for MJ.
What BS ! I did read at TMZ what people think of Sharpton and Jesse Jackson sticking their noses into this and making every thing in the Nation about their their agenda.

Ridiculous to a new level...a National Day for a man who chose to be a drug addict for many, many years, when he (of all people) had the money and the means to get himself well.  That he did this of his own choice after becoming a father...what he said he wanted the most..well he was not a good father IMO to expose, on purpose, those children to all that.  You know they saw their father drugged out most of their lives, and probably saw him asleep with a doctor in attendance many times, too.  It's unbelieveable.  Loved children...bah, he would have taken better care of himself if he had true love for his children...so that they would have a father.  Instead, his oldest son saw his father fall to the floor and all three children (ages 12, 11 & 7) have seen their father dead and the dysfunction continues.

Sorry to babble on-and-on...

I agree with everything you said.I don't give a chit how many records he sold, and Sharpton and Jackson...yep,it's always about their agenda.I'm sick of these people. They don't give two chits in he!! about MJ.
The kids never had any business with MJ to start with. After he hung the baby out of that hotel window they should have been taken away forever.
Where is the outrage over that?Oh that's right, none of the fans care about that.Any amount of talent the jerk had was overshadowed by his wacked out life style as far as I'm concerned.Going back to my corner now.

I, too, love MJ's music and thought he was a great performer.  I don't think anyone can deny that.

But..that I can compartmentalize into a separate box from my feelings of how he has raised his children and what a mess he's left them in!

I am appalled. And as you know, I am a fan of MJ's music from the Thriller days.
It was too over the top. I agree, how could he be a " good father " when he seemed to love drugs more ? Those kids have been raised in some sort of fantasy world that MJ created for himself. The entire Jackson clan is out of touch with reality. I sincerely hope that somehow all of this backfires in a big way. Some sort of backlash against the media who caters to these damn people alos. I have to leave for dinner. BBL

BUBBLES
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubbles_(chimpanzee)
Bubbles is a Common Chimpanzee, known for his association with Michael Jackson. Jackson rescued the three-year-old chimp from a cancer research clinic in Texas in 1985.[1] Despite the pair enjoying a close relationship, many media sources mocked the friendship. The public thought of Jackson as a bizarre eccentric, obsessed with recapturing his childhood, and he was subsequently dubbed "Wacko Jacko". Bubbles sat in for the recording sessions of the Bad album and escorted Jackson for the filming of the "Bad" music video. During the Bad World Tour, he and the singer shared a two-bedroom hotel suite in Tokyo.

Bubbles initially resided at the Jackson family's Encino home, but moved to Neverland Ranch in 1988, where he slept in a crib at the corner of Jackson's bedroom. Bubbles was allowed to use Jackson's private toilet, although the chimp sometimes wore a diaper. In a 2003 documentary, Living with Michael Jackson, the singer revealed to journalist Martin Bashir that Bubbles had become overly aggressive, and had been moved to an animal sanctuary.[2]
<snip>
In June 2009, Jackson died at the age of 50, after suffering a cardiac arrest.[33] Animal trainer Dunn, speaking to the News of the World, stated that the 26 year old chimp would miss the singer.[30] "Bubbles definitely missed him when they parted and will miss him now. Chimpanzees are intelligent. They remember people and stuff. Bubbles and Michael were close friends and playmates. The last time Michael visited, Bubbles definitely recognised and remembered him."[30] He revealed that Jackson thought of Bubbles as his first child.[30] Dunn added that he hoped Jackson's children would keep in touch with their "stepbrother", following their father's death.[30] Bubbles will not go to Michael Jackson's funeral and instead will stay at home.[34]

Bubbles currently resides at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida.[28]

I'm hearing child services will be speaking to the kids after the service. At first I thought it was a good idea that they were with MJ's mother, I don't anymore, it would be best to get them away from that whole family, but that is not going to happen. With all that drug use and other things, this calling him a great dad, well it makes me ill.

Congressman on Jackson: 'He Was a Pedophile'
Posted Jul 5th 2009 6:54PM by TMZ Staff

Congressman Pete King (R-NY) feels we should be honoring the men and women of the Armed Forces -- and not a "pedophile" and "child molester" like Michael Jackson.

Standing in front of the American Legion in Wantagh, King ripped into America's celebration of the life of Michael Jackson -- instead of the people who serve in the military.

It's safe to say King wasn't one of the 1.6 million people who signed up for memorial tickets.
(Thank-you Pete King  )

Jackson Doc Mum on Administering Anesthesia
Posted Jul 6th 2009 1:48AM by TMZ Staff
The lawyer for the doctor who was at Michael Jackson's home the day he died tells TMZ he did not give Jackson OxyContin or Demerol that day, but he wouldn't say the same about the powerful anesthesia found at the singer's home.

Dr. Conrad Murray was interviewed by LAPD detectives a week ago Saturday. Law enforcement sources tell us the information Dr. Murray gave police regarding drugs at Jackson's home was enough for cops to secure a search warrant from a judge. A search warrant can only be issued if there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.

Law enforcement sources say when police searched the home, they found the powerful anesthesia Propofol. The drug was specifically labeled Propofol and there was no indication it had been prescribed to anyone.

Edward Chernoff reiterated to us his client did not administer Demerol or OxyContin to Jackson the day he died. But Chernoff would not take the same stand on Propofol. Chernoff told us, "I have no statement on whether the Dr. prescribed or administered Propofol."

Chernoff added, "We're confident whatever the doctor prescribed did not kill Michael Jackson."

As we reported last week, cops obtained a search warrant the day after Jackson died. A second warrant was issued two days after Dr. Murray's interview -- that's the one that led cops to the Propofol. The second warrant may have been necessary if the first warrant only covered prescription medications.

The LAPD and the DEA are on the hunt to determine how the Propofol ended up in Jackson's home. The drug should never be administered outside a hospital.

UPDATE: A spokesman for attorney Ed Chernoff just called to say when Chernoff spoke with TMZ last night "He was not conscious. He had just woken up and he can't speak for anything that was in the home."

In fact, it was just after midnight Houston time when we spoke with him. We were on the phone with Chernoff for nearly 20 minutes. He repeated multiple times that he had no comment regarding the Propofol. Aside from the comments we quoted above, Chernoff said, "I have no comment on whether the doctor administered Propofol." He also said, "I can't deny or admit what the doctor might have prescribed." He also said "I can't say if the doctor gave him Propofol."

Chernoff went on to talk about the LAPD investigation, sounding very alert and choosing his words carefully: "When all the results come in, the truth will come out and the correct result will be obtained." He also asked questions about what we knew regarding which drug may have killed Michael Jackson.

Jackson Showdown in Court Today
Posted Jul 6th 2009 1:20AM by TMZ Staff
Today we'll know if Katherine Jackson will fight over Michael Jackson's will -- or at least we'll know if her lawyer plans a fight.

We've learned lawyers for John Branca and John McClain -- the two men named co-executors in Michael Jackson's will -- will ask the judge to put them in charge of the estate, at least until the will is formally presented in court.

But here's the wild card -- last week, before the will was filed, Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Londell McMillan, went to court and got the judge to temporarily make Katherine the administrator of the estate. That power expires today.

The question -- will McMillan object to putting Branca and McClain in control of the estate? Jermaine Jackson has said he wants everyone to respect Michael's wishes. Sources tell us Jermaine's feelings are shared by the other siblings, but McMillan may have a different agenda. We're told many members of Michael's family are upset with McMillan and believe he's grandstanding. Lawyers for the named co-executors are bracing for a fight.

Ironically, the will names Katherine the guardian of Michael's children.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2518690/Was-your-Daddy-a-druggie-Social-services-quiz-Jackson-kids.html

Was your Daddy a druggie?

MICHAEL Jackson's three kids faced harrowing questions from social services about life with their drug-addled dad within hours of his death, The Sun can reveal.

The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services launched the probe as they discovered the chilling extent of the singer's addiction to prescription drugs.
Last night it was predicted to have a huge impact on the custody battle between Jackson's mother Katherine and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe - the mum of his two eldest - which kicks off today.
And an insider on the case said social workers could take legal action themselves to safeguard the youngsters.
Within 24 hours of Jacko's fatal heart attack, investigators were gently quizzing Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - known as Blanket - to learn if they were exposed to narcotics such as methadone.
The heroin substitute was among a stash of 20 different drugs - half of them potentially lethal painkillers and anaesthetics - at Jacko's rented LA home.
Officials also wanted to know other details of his behaviour towards the youngsters when they visited them and their gran Katherine, 79 - Jacko's mum - at her home in Encino, California.
The insider on the case told The Sun: "The investigation was initially launched because drugs are so heavily involved.
"But in this particular case there are also red flags from all the family history and from Michael's prior involvement in molestation cases."
The probe was sparked by a tip-off from a doctor at the hospital where Jacko was taken.
The insider added: "The DCFS has 27 days to investigate the case and close it.
"They will check everyone involved in the children's lives for a criminal background.
"If they are satisfied the kids have been raised in a decent environment, then no further action will be taken.
"But if they are not satisfied, that's when they take it to court."
Katherine was granted guardianship of her grandchildren after Jacko's death.
But Debbie, 50, wants custody of Prince Michael and Paris - despite controversially giving up any claims to them in return for a 5.2million payoff from Jacko.
Lawyers have told her she has an excellent chance.
LA attorney and family law expert Michael Dave said: "The DCFS investigate areas such as neglect and abuse.
"They are likely to give Katherine an evaluation, carried out by a neutral expert, to determine how suitable the potential guardian is to take custody of the children full-time."

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2518485/Fans-claim-that-Michael-Jacksons-ghost-has-been-spotted-at-Neverland.html

'Jacko's ghost at Neverland'

MICHAEL Jackson fans are in a frenzy over a possible sighting of the star's GHOST at Neverland.
An eerie shadow resembling Jacko's figure appeared on a wall in the singer's former home during a live television programme last week - and walked across the corridor. It moved quickly from left to right before disappearing.
The spooky sighting came during CNN's 'Inside Neverland', which featured an interview between interviewer Larry King and Michael's brother Jermaine.
Neither the presenter nor the cameraman noticed the spectre. But after it was posted on YouTube fans picked up the shadow and rumours spread across the internet like wildfire.
During the programme - aired a week after his death - Miko Brando, Marlon's son and a long-term friend of Jackson's, takes a film crew on a tour of Neverland.
At one point their camera is pointed down a long hall-way when the shadowy figure appears at its far end.
Chat forums were flooded with messages from fans last night who insisted the shadow was Michael's ghost.
