The hope would be that Hayleigh is found and gets to go 'home' ( not the home she was in though IMO)

I have never had the 'right' feeling about this case or the 'father' Now- with burgulary, and dead rats - it shows an even darker under belly to a man- who is ' depserately hoping to find his lost child'? What is he doing commiting crimes and causing drama- when his focus should be on Hayleigh?

I don't know?? It all feels wrong. Prmiarily- the marriage to the 'young' girl. ( cant testify against your husband law exists still?) and criminal activity (dead rats?) ? Also with her Misty- asking her family to get her.... but changing her mind or direction? Sounds to me like a scared little girl w/ a manipulative , controlling boogey man keeping her hinged. 

He stikes me a a drug addict with perdofilic tendencies. jukies will sell theri own kids, for porn, sex and manipulate anyone and everyone around them to get thier way. There is something much deeper and darker here. And this guy seems like he is cracking up... not the way a man does when he loses a child he loves,,,, but in the way a nut job does when he loses control of his lies.

Nothing is ever what it seeems. humans do horrible things to eachother sometimes. And this guy strikes me as a weasely, creep. 

My wish is for this girl to be found and to be given to a better family so she can live a happy life. The support and prayers of many concernd citizens will help- if nothing else- at least maybe the TRUTH can be found - even if it s one no one wants ot hear.

I will chekc back to see new develpoments. Thankful to those who spend time trying ot help in here- if it was me or my child - I would want to know people cared and were trying ot find me or at least get justice for me and me find my peace.

Haleigh Cummings' Family Gathers School Supplies in her Honor (Video Included)

PALATKA, FL -- Haleigh Cummings will turn 6-years-old on Monday. Instead of presents for Haleigh, the family is giving a gift to other children.

Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her father's home in Satsuma 6-months ago.

Haleigh Cummings would be starting 1st grade this month.

Instead of getting supplies for Haleigh, her family is collecting supplies for other kids. "There's a lot of people who can't afford to buy school supplies for their children right now," said Haleigh's grandma, Marie Griffis.

That's why they started collecting items. All the donations will be given to Haleigh's School, Browning Pearce Elementary. It's a way to honor Haleigh on her birthday.

"Its undescribable. I can't tell you. Its awful not knowing where she's at," said Griffis.

Haleigh's family is also organizing a national balloon release Monday.

The family is asking for people across the country to print Haleigh's flyer from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website, put it in a balloon and release it.

Haleigh's father is also holding a local balloon release and candlelight service at First Baptist Church of Walaka tomorrow at 3:00 pm.

We will be running our regular Sunday program at 3pm Central. Once again the focus will be on the Haleigh Cummings case. Our panel is still being formalized but will likely be the Barrett clan, TJ Hart or the Sky 97.3, William “Cobra” Staubs, And Denny Griffin. I have been in touch with Art Harris who is currently in California working on another case, and he is going to try and join us, time permitting.

The Haleigh Cummings case took a few bizarre twists this week, and I am sure the panel is going to have lots to talk about.

PALATKA, Fla. -- It's a day that is supposed to be full of balloons and the laughter of family and friends, but Marie Griffis never thought that she would be celebrating her granddaughter's sixth birthday like this.

"It's the worst thing any family could have to go through. It's indescribable," said Griffis.

Purple balloons and pictures of the smiling little girl surround the group. "She had mounds of wavy hair. It was just long. And her brown eyes would just stand out."

But instead of toys for Haleigh, they have boxes of markers, pencils and notebooks. "It makes us feel good that we are able to do this in Haleigh's honor," said Griffis.

Now the same supplies that would have filled Haleigh's backpack on her first day of school, will go to others who would not have had it this school year. "Haleigh liked to share and that's what this was built on."

And it is Haleigh's sharing spirit the family hopes will help keep her name in the limelight. "As long as Haleigh is gone we will be looking. We will never, ever give up," said Griffis.

Donations Given To Missing Child's Elementary School

The family of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings spent Saturday giving back to the community that supported them for the past 6 months. The family held a school supply drive in Satsuma. All donations collected will be given to children in need at Haleigh's elementary school.

The missing girl's father, Ronald Cummings was at the event posting signs for a vigil scheduled for Sunday.

Haleigh, who turns 6 on Monday, vanished from her Satsuma home in February. The case gained national attention and generated thousands of leads, but there is still no sign of Haleigh.

Thunder!!!! Wonderful to hear!!  I will be at Dads military honors service, 21 gun and all, and his entombment so will not be able to, was going to ask if a monkey participating can release an extra for me and I will figure a way to get the cost of balloon to that monkey. I will surely be with you in spirit though, I know this will sound crummy but my mind will be on Haleigh Monday through dads service. We had his mass already but had to wait until they had things together for the military honors ceremony. I will be thinking of you thunder and will say a silent prayer for Haleigh.
