Ronald Cummings' mother said she does not believe her daughter-in-law has misled investigators. Misty Croslin has a seventh-grade education, Teresa Neves said and should not be able to fool interrogators that have included FBI agents.

"She feels they are not being fair to her," Neves said Monday.      (Is the slam for Misty or for the interrogators?)

Heart

There was a misprint in that article, it has been corrected

http://www.wesh.com/news/20422695/detail.html

A candid update to the investigation into Haleigh's disappearance from her Satsuma home last February was released on the girl's sixth birthday. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office said that the work they have done so far minimizes the likelihood that Haleigh's disappearance is the work of a stranger.

OS

Thanks OS, I was hoping it was in error!

Good to see you.

Did you get a chance to attend any of the events for HaLeigh?

YW

Good to see you too.

No I wasn't able to attend.

Wonder what it will take for Misty to talk?  My personal opinion is that I'm surprised she already hasn't unless her fear of Ron is stopping her. Why else would be be uncooperative with LE?

This has been bothering me since yesterday, maybe I'm reading to much into it     Ron and Crystal were not considered suspects. But they did not come out and say that either one was cleared. And that Misty was not a suspect either.  That Misty can't or won't tell all she knows. Is it even remotely possible that Misty really doesn't know what happened, that she was sleeping deeply, maybe from drugs?

I don't put much stock into LE saying they are not considered suspects.  I've seen LE in many cases over the years say someone is not a suspect then arrest them later that day.  It just doesn't mean any more to me than they can't call them a suspect at this time.

LE saying Misty is not cooperative and needs to tell what she knows is much more telling to me.

That is how I'm feeling about those statements also. LE has to be very careful with their words also, or at least it seems that way following so many cases.

I think a list of who was visiting the mobile home the night/evening that HaLeigh went missing . And what is the complete accounting of  all the  physical evidence at the scene that contradicts Misty's sketchy account of her evening activities

And/or if true who was in the van with Misty, the evening she picked HaLeigh up from the school bus stop.

A clarification why LE was at the 116 Tyler address prior to arriving at HaLeigh's address 202 Green is needed.

Would Misty cover for Chad Griffis? No

Would she cover for Ronald? Possibly

Would she cover for any of the Croslins? Yes.

Would she cover for the Brooks?  If so, why?
Was the story put out by Nay, Nay and WBG the truth?

Would she cover for herself, and is she capable of fooling PCLE, FBI, and the Cummings family members?

Out of curiosity, why HaLeigh instead of Haleigh?  Have I missed something, is it propper to capitalize the L?  I've noticed a few people doing it this way and wondered if I had missed the reason.

The grilling took place in the Putnam County Jail, before Misty and his grandmother put up the $12,500 bond to spring him, and revealed little that was new. Over dinner at MeMa’s restaurant in Satsuma five months ago, Ronald confided he worried that Misty knew more than she was telling, and for that reason, was keeping her close, in spite of her shenanigans.

If you add the next line it makes more sense.

Thank you Idgie.  So sorry if I misled anyone with the part I snipped.
I have concerns for Misty's safety if Ron finds out she had anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance.
I don't know what happened to Haleigh or who is responsible.
I only hope the answers come soon.

I remember this was brought up somewhere in my readings. I could swear that I read that is the way her name is spelled on the birth certificate, if I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will know the reason behind this

According to some of the documents in the civil proceedings the L is capitalized in HaLeigh's name and also from a press interview of one of HaLeigh's aunts in Baker county that I read, the aunt stressed that the L is capitalized.

Wonder why they didn't make sure the "L" was capitalized on the t-shirt?
