Yea me to, but I have a feeling that before its all said and done that some changes regarding his custody will probably be coming into play, its a waiting game but the clock in ticking...IMO

I agree, it's just hard to sit back and wait while a child's life IMO could be in danger, especially when you consider how badly DVF fails the children they are supposed to be protecting........MAD AS HELL and it has to stop, enough is enough

Just the statements alone released the other day, should make it apparent that the child isn't safe staying where he is. You have a stepmother who can't or won't tell LE what they need to know about a missing child, but it is okay to leave this child in the care of her.

I  know what you mean, but at least I think with Granny Sykes there he is safer than they were with Ronald at the other house, I bet Misty is one her p's and q's around there with her watching things....

I think that it is extremly odd that Ron had Misty call 911 instead of himself,he was tearing up the house looking for Haleigh ...okay....but we have all seen the house and it would take just a few minutes to run through there and look for her and could have been done while he was on the cell phone with 911....It sounded like to me that Misty was distracted from the 911 operator by him during the call. And then he hung up on them and when they called back it rang for awhile before he answered and they asked for Misty it sounded like she said that she didn't want to talk anymore?
Do I think that she is innocent no way no how but i think that he is involved in some way even if it is just after the fact.
You can see in the tv interviews that he is coaching her and she seems to be trying to remember what she is suppose to say.....and did not do very well so that was all we saw of her.
In my oppinion his behavior is just as odd as hers. He just knows how to say "I don't know I was at work" and I guess she was suppose to say " I don't know I was sleeping" but when she was asked additional questions that I guess she felt that she should know the answers to she tried to add to the story and it got way out of control.


This is also the only explanation that I can come up with for Ron's family defending Misty so much......There are a 1,000 things that could have happened ...someone followed her home etc but still it does not fit with either one of their behaviors......even if she can not remember some things about that night the things that she can remember should not change unless she remembers something that adds to her story and fits in correctly....

Does anyone else think that Ron was in on this in some way too????

I sure do, and I have since the beginning. Way to many things said and done that makes me feel that way.

I wonder if Haleigh was abducted by one of Ron's business friends seeking revenge of some sort.  By business, I mean the druggies, drug dealers, etc.  Ron, after all, has a bad temper.  He could have gone off about a deal, possibly injuring someone.  Since they are in the backwoods, the score is settled by the players themselves.  Perhaps Haleigh was taken as part of settling a score.   I hate to even put this thought on paper.

This is an example of backwoods hillbilly culture (that I grew up in).  What is so very sad is that Misty is not motivated by important things like getting a public education.  That can be done with a motivated kid, even if the parents or family is not motivated, or are drugged out of their minds most the time.  Generally the teachers help out a lot in such situations to the extent they can, according to the kid's circumstances.

I highly doubt if truancy from school is followed up on in the backwoods.

I thought the same thing after all his mother works for pd....grandma owns her own bussiness....Ron had his own house,car,and a job......his is suppose to be the bad@#$ of the town....I bet in her eyes she has the best in Putnam county.....the question is how far is she willing to go to keep him???
