I still cannot respond to long quotes!!  Mytime, you mean from Dolce?  No I dont expect I will ever hear from her again.  I have just been popping in and out, I have told my son when I get elderly just take me out to the field and shoot me.  I love my parents but my gosh!!! The nursing home calls about mom every day.  They ask her to do something and she says " I dont have to".  Except you would have to hear it to believe the tone in her voice.  My Dad will only eat a choc shake and french fries from Sonic and no, you cannot pay for it.  Augggggghhhhhhh.

I am sorry A1 about all of it.  It is Dolce's loss!  You may have lost a "friend" but have gained a big family of supporters.  Please don't feel bad - it is her - not you!!


I understand about your parents.  My mom got kind of difficult too.  She did not feel good and that was hard but she also didn't like me "mothering" her.

Thank you CBB.  It is so challenging when they live in the past!!!  My mom calls me and asks me to bring things all the time, she has no idea her money is gone and I canot tell her, so she will order new outfits, books, etc.  It is amazing.  Please tell me I will never be like that!!!!

OMG - my mother was the biggest shopoholic!  She was always getting big boxes in the mail and she had no idea what she ordered.

One time she ordered a big Cuckoo clock!!
