Court Hearing In Anthony Case Canceled
Evidence Sought By Prosecutor Delivered

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A court hearing involving the parents of Casey Anthony was canceled on Friday.

Brad Conway, the attorney who represents the Anthony family, arrived at the courthouse around 9 a.m.

"I'm going to give the state attorney's office what they need. I expect the hearing to be canceled," Conway said.

Judge Stan Strickland had scheduled a rule to show cause hearing because of delays in getting evidence from the Anthonys to prosecutors.

"The state has requested certain documents stored in the Anthonys' computer and it's not going as quickly as the state wants. The Anthonys' computer has been down, and they have not been able to produce certain documents," Conway said.

I was thinking that the papers would have to be filed through the Clerk's office in order to prove to Strickland that they were recieved.

State wants records of Casey Anthony's parents, private investigators
Hearing canceled after lawyer for Casey Anthony's parents dropped off documents at State Attorney's office.

Prosecutors want records of correspondence between George and Cindy Anthony and their private investigators, a source told the Orlando Sentinel.

It's unclear if that is what the Anthonys' attorney, Brad Conway, just turned over to the State Attorney's Office.

The State Attorney's Office would not reveal what they wanted from Casey Anthony's parents, but a source told the Sentinel prosecutors want documents related to the Anthonys' private investigators. The Anthonys have worked with two investigators -- Dominic Casey and Jim Hoover.

The State Attorney's Office had planned to ask Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland to force the Anthonys to produce the correspondence for the state's case against their daughter, Casey Anthony, according to spokespersons for the State Attorney's office and the court.

But that hearing was called off after Conway dropped off information to this morning at the State Attorney's Office.

Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick and Anthony family attorney Brad Conway notified Strickland this morning that the hearing would be canceled.

Brad Conway, lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony, said Thursday the couple simply hasn't been able to provide the documents in the time frame prosecutors wanted.

"The Anthonys have no problem providing the documentation the state has requested," Conway said Thursday.

Casey Anthony is being held in the Orange County Jail under an indictment for first-degree murder in the death of daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. The state is seeking the death penalty in the case.

Everything they have done in this past year has been deceitful, why change now?? They don't listen to their lawyer's advice, they do whatever harm they can to make sure there is no justice for Caylee. I want these people to go down. They are a perfect example of what our society is turning into and it has to be stopped.
