Sweet Morgan - You by no means need to answer this question.  But, I have to ask, did you find the size of the twins rather odd?
Hi KCJackie,  I found the length very odd.  The shortest baby in our entire family was 17 inches and was very premature.  I looked and looked on the Internet for the length of babies and never found any that size.  I thought it was just me and I am not one to really question people as I take people at their word.  She didn't seem concerned so neither was I.  I have been waiting to see pictures of the babies showing how small they were.  Actually they would be quite chunky for that weight and size.  I have to say I am very, very sad about the whole Dolce matter.  I have always struggled in life, as so many of you other Monkeys have, so I used to love to hear about the good life.  I kept Dolce and those little ones in my prayers.  I feel as though I have lost someone that I really care about.  Some other Monkey stated "If it seems to good to be true ------.  Thank goodness I have my two little grandchildren in my life and they are real.  That is where my heart is.  I will still say a few prayers for Dolce because she is so terribly troubled.

Hey all! Yes, i will post pics! And I'm taking pics of the cake from start to finish this time too! I'll put them in my cake thread later today!

AZ, I have a friend that is from Yuma, she said they only got like 3 or 4 inches of rain a year & no one had grass in their yards, just rocks or something    She's lived here in MS for a long time now, though.

Here's the inside of the house. (and yes I have tried to zoom in on the pics on the fridge) I didn't see a pic of Dolce or Hubs, etc.

I just joined this site and look how easy it is to look inside of all these house's and how easy it would be to say I  lived here she's a dumb ass.

Yes, that is true about the rocks.  It is really crushed granite, and then plants and trees are planted in the gardens.  They are really quite pretty.   I do have grass in the front yard, but the back is all plants, patio and pool.   Yuma is really hotter than we are in the Phoenix area.    Here is the severe weather bulletin we just received this morning....hot hot hot...it is really great here for about 9 months of the year though!

Issued at: 5:52 AM MST 7/10/09, expires at: 4:00 PM MST 7/10/09

Excessive heat watch in effect from Saturday morning through sunday evening, The NWS in phoenix has issued an excessive heat watch, which is in effect from 10 am Saturday morning through 8 pm sunday evening.
Strong high pressure aloft centered over west Texas will expand and strengthen over the southwest united states during the next couple of days, bringing the hottest temperatures so far this year. Forecast highs over the lower desert will range from 109 to 115 degrees saturday, and from 110 to 117 degrees Sunday. The heat index is forecast to reach or exceed 105 degrees for at least several hours each afternoon. The forecast high temperature at phoenix sky harbor airport is 112 degrees on Saturday and 113 degrees on Sunday, with an overnight low of 89 degrees Saturday night.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
It would be wise to complete as much outdoor activity as possible in the early morning when the sun and heat are less intense. During periods of excessive heat, individuals can suffer heat-related illness when the body can no longer cool itself. If you plan to be outside for an extended period of time in the afternoon or early evening, stay in the shade as much as possible and drink abundant amounts of water. Wear light-colored and loose-fitting clothing. If you wear a wide-brimmed hat, your head and body will be much cooler. Stop outdoor activities, drink lots of water or other non-alcoholic beverages, and if possible, spend more time in air-conditioned or well-ventilated places.

Thanks LovinLife... yes I am having fun surfing!!  CBB did a great job on my avi... I am so proud!!  I love the beach, which is where I will be heading in about a half an hour.  It's going to be soooo hot here today, so a day at the beach will be perfect!!

I love the surf rolling in the avi....CBB is one artistic lady!!  Have fun at the beach....wish I was going with ya.....

There's room for ya Sunny!!      We'd love to have you join us!!

I so miss going to the beach.......have a great time

I wish we had a beach nearby as well.  It is going to be 107 here today, and they are predicting 112 this weekend.  Yep, pool time, but even the pool is getting too warm!

Thanks, SunnyTX, but we will miss you Sad

AZSunny... I sure don't like the Arizona heat, but I am heading there in about two weeks to visit my family.  I know what you mean about the pool getting too warm!!  Try to stay cool

Calif Mom,  you will probably be arriving in the middle of our monsoons, at least it cools things off a bit.   I let my 3 bichons out to go potty, and they don't want to go outside, if I force them then at least one of them jumps in the pool.  They are no longer looking cute and fluffy, sort  of like dreadlocks in white hanging over their little bodies!   I think the cooldeck even gets so hot that it burns their feet.

I have been caught up in many of your monsoons... very scary!!  The scariest of all was one year I was on my dad's boat in the middle of Lake Havasu when a monsoon hit!!  It felt like we were in the middle of the ocean with the big waves crashing over the boat.  We saw a boat almost sink, but luckily another BIG boat came by and was able get a rope to them and tow them.  We made it to a cove, where my dad was trying to hold the bimini top up over my all of us so the hail would not hit us.  My dad's knuckles were cut up and bleeding from the hail hitting him.  It was over in a matter of 15 minutes.  Many boats went down that weekend and I think 5 people drowned from it.  It was very sad and very scary!!  The problem with the monsoons is that is adds humidity to your super hot weather.

No,  I didn't see your question, what was it?

My Mom lives in Oceanside, so at least I get to walk the Carlsbad beach a few times a year.
