Gizzie,
I love Mokey... Sounds like a spoiled bird.....

Thank you AM, he is very spoiled! When HE wants to be pet, he lets out a piercing screech to get our attention. Then, we have to scratch his neck just like a dog, and he twists, and nuzzles, then bites us when HE'S done, lol...but he's fun!

Yeah, I love it when they rub their little head on you.  Mine used to love tortilla chips and would chirp and act like it was birdie crack.

<---------- This is my Mokey (mo-kee), named for the "mohawk", lol...He sings the Ed, Ed and Eddie cartoon song, does the cat call whistle, talks way too much, and is a very loud screamer, other than that, he's the best birdie! Had him since a baby and hand fed. He also prefers spaghetti and chicken, and I have to make him his own plate to eat from, otherwise, he helps himself to mine!

Gizzie,

I love tiels.  All birds for that matter, really.  I have a tiel named "Bird" that is 6 years old now.  He is "Bird" because when he was learning to talk, everything was "Bird"  He says "Good Bird", "Love you Bird", "Bird Up", "Pretty Bird",  "Beaker Bird" etc.  We tried other names and he basically named himself.  His cousin "Beaker Bird" (my bros. tiel) comes to visit and they have a fine time.  Beaker says his name ( a lot) and prefers to whistle.  When we bring Beaker to visit, he starts calling to Bird  before he even gets in to the house.  They are both hand fed babies, about a year apart.  We also have a little tourquoise blue parakeet named "Cindy Lou Who", and she's "Bird"'s companion/pet.  She was a rescue and was a terrified bird for a long time.  Came from a pet store, not hand fed.   She trills and sings, but doesn't talk.  She loves her toy, has conversations with it etc.  Sleeps up against her toy.  I think she was comforted when we brought her here and put her house next to "Birds".

Ok, I have sent the texts I received that nite to Klaasend. She can judge me and know I am telling the truth about all it.  That is really all that important to me right now that she knows I am telling the truth. She knows I am not computer savvy and would not know how to make texts with the right time, ims or whatever to tell a story.  She is probably reading them right now

Just had to correct your stupid self???????  Here's another correction.  Callandar is a small town in Scotland.  A calendar is that thingie you hang on the wall so you can wake up and remind yourself that today is the day you are going to have twin dolls babies.

It kicked me out and messed up my post.

I was trying to say I misread this the first time I read it, I thought it was from the troll as Muffy calls her, then when I saw Klaas' question I read it again.  Sorry for messing up the post the first time Klaas

Oh Muffy, I love tiels too, I really do! I'm too afraid of the bite from the bigger birds. Mine will say mokey bird, over and over, while bobbing up and down. Too funny to watch sometimes, lol. He's pretty quick at picking up words, so sometimes I have to whisper my cussing. Almost like having a toddler again, lol...Not that I cuss alot,  I had one from a rescue once, wasn't pretty for a long time!

Kermit,

Now that you've posted those A1 tidbits, I remember reading them both but the first one didn't stay with me.  It should have because I know I responded about my having worked with programmers and/or analysts.

It's amazing how some info is retained by some and not by others.    thumright
