Thank you klassend for approving my membership. I live in the next town over from McCleary, and have been reading your boards since Lindsey disappeared. Her disappearance struck a chord in my heart, because on June 20th, we buried a friends 12 year old daughter. This little girl was Kylie Ellis. She went missing on Dec. 1, 2008. She was listed as an endangered runaway, and it seems left at that until her body was found on June 1. My reason for registering is that while Kylie was missing, up until about March, she was spotted all over town. One of the places she was seen consistently for awhile was at a youth group at a church in Rainier WA. With all the digging you have done, and the connections that have been found with Wayne Watne, I felt I should get this information out there. Please keep up the great work you all do, and bring Lindsey home.
what happened???

Hi Mamacrazy ~

"The body was fully intact and there were no obvious signs of trauma, said Sgt. Dave Odegaard from the Thurston County Sheriff's Office."

Welcome ConcernedMommy.
That is very interesting,I had just read that yesterday about Kylie being involved in a Troubled Youth group from a church.
I believe the girl missing from Olympia from the link above is/was also involved in a church youth group.......I totally agree with you about Wayne Watne!

State review of logging site joined by those who OK'd it

We aren't sure what happened. Kylie's death was classified as a freshwater drowning. We don't know if it is being investigated any further. The whole situation surrounding her disappearance is strange, confusing and sad. She had left a suicide note and her school books on the side of a canal. Then she was seen around town for 3 months by people who knew her. The sitings stopped in about March, and her body was found June 1. They sent divers in the canal, and tracking dogs came in when she first disappeared. The dogs tracked her back out the the area, so no one is sure what happened.

I am so sorry for your loss and for Kylies family.  A question that I have is why would she have her schoolbooks with her after 3 months?  People living on the streets don't usually pack school books or something that heavy with them.  Was she staying at someones house?  Or did I misunderstand and they initially found her books and a suicide note, but the dogs tracked her away from the canal and then 6 months later found her body in the same area?

Do you know who Kylie was involved with at the church groups or heard any rumors about who saw her in town? Seems like Rainier is too small to hide in for 3 months without help - it is even smaller than McCleary.  Does her description match Nancy Moyer and Lindsey - Long Brown Hair, Brown Eyes, 80-90 lbs 4'-9" - 4'-11" height

If her books were left on the side of the canal with a suicide note yet she was seen alive for 3 months, could she have possibly confided in someone about what she had left and they then took advantage of it. It would seem logical that if she was seen at the youth group consistantly for those three months then it may be someone associated with that group that was helping her hide.

If Kylie was fully intact in June then it seems impossible that she was in water for 3-6 months.

Does it seem weird that she disappeared in December, Nancy Moyer in March and Lindsey in June....that is just a little over 3 months apart for each of them.  One disapearance per quarter?

www.protectyelm.org/2008/12/missing-yelm-girl/ There is a picture of Kylie here. She was 5'7" I believe, 100lbs, long brown hair, brown eyes. Her books and the note were left on Dec. 1. The dogs tracked her away from the canal, and then her body was found there 6 months later. The whole situation is weird. There are things that I can't really go into on a public board, but we do think someone was helping her, at least for awhile. And possibly two different families at different times. I will try to find out today what church the youth group was at. I guess it is a pretty popular group, they have disco lights, music and food. I think it was Wednesday nights.

Camp Delezene

http://www.legacieslarp.org/gamemenu/events.php#5

From I-5, take exit 104 to US-101 toward Aberdeen/Port Angeles .

 From US-101, take WA-8 toward Montesano/Aberdeen

 WA-8 will become US-12

From US-12 take the second exit for Elma onto S 3rd Street

 Left onto S 3rd Street

S 3rd Street will become Wakefield Rd.

Bear left onto S Bank Rd. (it's not a true left turn, just a slight curve at a fork)

Right on Delezene Creek Rd., follow until the end of the pavement, and continue on the gravel road (Mapquest and Expedia both say that the road changes names a a few times, but we didn't see any signs to tell us that, so just follow the gravel road). There's a couple of roads to turn off onto, but just keep going straight. You'll go over a couple tiny bridges, just follow the road all the way until you find a a Weyerhaeuser forest sign instructing you not to tresspass. As strange as it sounds, continue passed the Weyerhaeuser sign (don't turn onto another road, just go down the road with the sign), following the road. Shortly, you will see signs for Camp Delezenne (Weyerhaeuser just happens to own the land around the campgrounds). You will see a small, grassy parking lot on the right-hand side where you will need to park. As you continue down the road, you will see the ranger house on the left and a couple cabins and the lodge just passed the ranger house, also on the left side of the road.

Bear left onto S Bank Rd. (it's not a true left turn, just a slight curve at a fork)
This was the same area as the forest fire in Capitol Forest.
Some one had posted directions to that location in the #1-Lindsey Baum discussion board.  I remember reading it because it said "fork".

Suspect Arrested In MySpace Rape Case
Police fear there more be more victims:

A 28-year-old Washington state man has been arrested after police say he raped at least two different women that he had met on MySpace.

Marcos Roberto Lozano, of Olympia, is accused of drugging a 24-year-old woman then raping her. A friend of the alleged victim said she witnessed the incident as well.

The allegations against Lozano were reported to police after he was arrested in connection with a another rape involving a 21-year-old women in February.

Lozano, who works as a bartender at the Red Wind Casino in Olympia, is believed to have communicated with the woman on MySpace and then convincing them to meet him at the casino.

Because police fear there may be more victims, they are asking anyone who has information on this case to contact them or Crime Stoppers at 360-493-2222.

Also if Wayne Watne was at Camp Delezene as the forester for fish and wildlife and the Arson was in that area then I really think
someone needs to really search that area.  Can cadaver dogs smell if something has been burnt?

Can anyone identify the man in the photo in this local article?

http://**/articles/2009/07/01/local_news/doc4a4ba94721f78989072462.txt

I am, by NO MEANS, diverting attention away from WW.  I think he needs to be looked at very, very thoroughly. If I were in charge, I would be dogging him like a big dog.   But I am curious about this man in this photo for a couple reasons.

DD, can you say whether you or your source knows if WW is being investigated?

And Concerned, to you, please know that we all offer our heartfelt sympathy for the grief and confusion you feel over Kylie's death.  And to Kylie's family, we are all so sorry for your loss.  But, I thank God that you have joined this forum and are able to offer what you know.  Many Blessings to you.

MASON COUNTY — Registered sex offender Andrew D. McQuilkin, 32, is now a transient in the Shelton area, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office.

McQuilkin is under the state Department of Corrections' supervision. Because he is now homeless, he was upgraded from a Level 2 to a Level 3, classified as a high risk to re-offend.

He was convicted in 1989 of first-degree child rape in Mason County and in 2001 for second-degree child assault.

This is awesome timing for such an emphasis on Astronomy! If you really want to seee something amazing about the stars and really get an understanding of how incredibly large some of the stars are, how big the universe is, and the magnitude of the distances between some of the galaxies and earth check out the CD "Indescribable" by Louie Giglio... it will blow your socks off!

"If the body is submerged in cool (less than 70F or 21C) to cold (less
than 40F or 4,4C) water for as little as one to three weeks, the
corpse's tissues convert to adipocere, a compound that stops the
activity of bacteria. In extreme cold conditions, the normal process of decomposition is halted—by either lack of moisture or temperature controls on bacterial and enzymatic action—causing the body to be preserved as a mummy. Frozen mummies commonly restart the decomposition process when thawed.

Decomposition of Cadavers in Cold Water*
2 days:    Washerwoman's hands.
25 days:    Bloating, marbling, slippage
38 days:    Bloating, slippage, dark gray-brown discoloration, focal adipocere, purge fluid in body cavities.
68 days:
Bloating, slippage, dark gray-brown discoloration, extensive subcutaneous adipocere, purge fluid in body cavities.
109 days:    Total saponification covered by a thin friable crust.
433 days:    Total saponification with thick friable crust and skeletonization.

Saponification - soft tissue in a conversion of the fat of a corpse into adipocere, often called "grave wax." This process is more common where the amount of fatty tissue is high, the agents of decomposition are absent or only minutely present, and the burial ground is particularly alkaline.

adipocere-  is a yellowish-white substance composed of fatty acids and
soaps which forms after death on the fatty parts of the body like
cheeks, abdomen wall, and buttocks. Adipocere is greasy or "soapy" and
has a strong and musty odor.

So, as cold as the water is in WA year round, especially in the winter, spring months, a fully intact body is quite possible.

concernedmommyinwa, I am sorry for the loss of your daughter's friend, Kylie. I hope what I just posted doesn't upset you too much.

This is a missing person/crime forum and sometimes the details we talk about can be a bit gruesome, especially for friends and family members.

I am sorry.

I don't know how to mark a map but there is a Delezenne road in Elma I think. Also, anything we find for this thread should probably be copied over to the Wayne Watne thread just to have the info in both places.
I did find the boy scout troop for the GraysHarbor county but not sure that is the correct troop.

the church on 3rd street in elma is
Northwest Life Center
one of the people preaching is none other than the uncle of michael feeser the sex offender

The Daily World – July 1, 2009-07-06

Wayne Watne of Evergreen Christian Community in Olympia and two other local ministers said prayers for Lindsey’s return. Watne took speakers from the assembled crowd. Friends of the family stepped up, taking turns expressing their hope and their pain.

My bold above - Did Michael Feesers uncle happen to be one of them?

Also, someone posted earlier that they had called the Evergreen Christian Center in Olympia and had asked about their missionary/minister/member Wayne Watne and they (the church home office) had no idea who that was.   No record of a Wayne Watne.  I looked on the facebook accounts that the church lists on their website but Wayne Watne is not in that group - yet if you go to facebook you can find him.

He does not show up as a staff member of that church either.

Very Strange.

I am the one that called the church in Olympia and the reporter.

I called and asked if WW was a minister. The lady that answered the phone said she had never heard of WW.

I then called the Daily World and spoke to Callie White who wrote the article. She said he had called and corrected her that he was a "missionary". She said she planned on writing a retraction. (don't know if she did or not) She also thought it weird that Olympia had never heard of him.

another monkey (don't remember who) said that there is an offshoot of the same church in McCleary and he was probably a missionary from there. Which is why Olympia may have never heard of him because he is "working for" the McCleary offshoot.

I'm not sure if I already posted this or not, Pink Angel, but Harvest Vision Ministries has at least one of the same photos as is on Wayne Watne's Flickr page.  So, one would naturally assume that the sponsoring church would know that this person Wayne Watne was part of the mission work in December '08 in San Luis, Sonora, Mexico.  Perhaps the woman who answered the phone was simply not aware of him.  I would love to know, however, if the church also has the photos that Wayne has removed from his Flickr page of photos.  Wouldn't we all?  There's one on the church Flickr page of him with a little blonde girl on his shoulders.  Another photo shows him in a group photo, but he is kneeling apart from the others.  I dunno, probably not much of anything when viewed alone, but with everything that's pointing his way, something to observe, at least.

Here are the links:

Above link is the Dec 08 Mexico Harvest Ministry Mission.  Wayne has some of the same photos on his flickr page.

Wayne’s photos are in the link above, same trip with Harvest Ministries.  Dec. 08

This may be OT but I thought it was interesting as it involves the Delezenne area and Whyerhaeuser.Amazing how the FBI investigated way back in 1935.

http://www.fbi.gov/libref/historic/famcases/weyer/weyer.htm

On May 24, 1935, George Weyerhaeuser, the nine-year old son of prominent lumberman J.P. Weyerhaeuser of Tacoma, Washington, disappeared on his way home from school. Although the students at Lowell School, which he attended, were released for lunch earlier than usual, George followed his regular practice of immediately walking to the nearby Annie Wright Seminary to meet his sister Ann. The family's chauffeur generally met George and Ann at the Seminary to drive them home for lunch at noon. Arriving at the Seminary 10 or 15 minutes early that day, George apparently decided to walk home rather than wait for his sister. But George never reached home that day; somewhere between the Seminary and his house, George Weyerhaeuser was kidnapped.........more at link.
