Just back from a great massage, jump into a car that has been sitting in 113' sun, and it shows 122 on the thermometer as the outside temp....must have been 400 in the car.  A little hard to drive when you can't hold on to the steering wheel.  I  stopped and got a sweet tea...and now i want a nap.

Sounds like my daily ritual.  I am definately addicted to sweet tea.  D*** Mcdonalds and the $1 menu.  Monkey Devil!

That is where I got it Atlanta_Mom!   They have great mocha iced coffee too!

Haven't tried their coffee, but I used to be addicted to Dunkin Donuts coffee.  Somehow managed to drag myself away from DD's coffee (they use whipping cream in their coffee.. Yummy ).
It is the kid's fault and those devil boxes (kid's meals).  I used to never go to Mcdonalds (sigh).

Hi you all! I am hooked on Tea this summer too. So much better for us than sodas, IMHO. I also love the Slurpees from 7-11

I got a Kindle the other day. I think I am going to love it! I hope it is as easy to use as the instructions sound. It is amazing all it does. Does anyone have one? Is it really as easy as it seems?

Sweet tea is OK, but I love the plain. I have some of those 50's aluminum glasses and matching pitcher. Plain ice tea over crushed ice and I'm in heaven!  an angelic monkey

OH, my gosh,  I sure remember those glasses.  They always had a different smell to them for me...they sure kept things cold.   I am a Georgia born gal, so I have to have my tea sweet with no lemon!

I really need to give up the sweet tea and ultra-sweet coffee (with whip cream).  I am starting to see an underlying trend in my life--sugar.  I bet I could lose alot of weight if I just give up these 2 things.

I like sugar way too much. So when I tried a McDonald's Sweet Tea and loved it, I went to the website and found there was more than a quarter cup of sugar in it. That stopped my love of McD's Sweet Tea...................

That is kind-of like the salad at Zaxby's (zensational salad).  I loved it until I found out that it had over 800 calories without the salad dressing. I thought I was being healthy

I have a kindle and I love it! it is so cool..! I order books online and it is sent to my kindle within a minute or so! it is the coolest inventions...the only thing that I don't know, if there is a book with pictures if the kindle produces the pictures...most of the books that I have ordered are romance/mystery thrillers which don't have pictures...I also wish that there was more of a selection of magazines available...such as People, Ok or Star...the trashier magazines...

http://annecollins.net/carbs-sugar.htm  for the carbs - from the sugar.
Most soda's are loaded with sodium too.  One summer I went to diet rite (wild cherry is great!) and the lack of sodium helped me drop 10 pds in just a few months and that is all I switched.  The sodium helps you retain water and slows the burning of calories if my memory serves me.
