NEW FEATURE AT SCARED MONKEYS:
Gratefulness-Light a Candle in Prayer Site
http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?board=54.0

This is the place where candles can be posted, so they may be found again.  I've gathered a few of the candles from MP threads and started listing them with their links in each thread.  This area is for links only, with no discussion.  The threads will be locked after completion and can be amended by a mod if needed.   Anyone can make a candle, such as Sister has done for her sis Connie,  for example.   Some candles already exist and hopefully we will be able to get them into this area soon.

Klaas has posted guidelines/suggestions here:
http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=5684.0

Some threads with links so far at the new site:
Amber Leeanne Dubois
Sister's sis Connie
Caylee Marie Anthony
Adji Desir
Haleigh Marie Cummings
Jaliek Rainwalker
April Beth Pitzer
Clinton Nelson

Thanks Muffy.   an angelic monkey

Thank you Klaas, but I cannot take credit.
I had been mulling over the problem about the candles for a while now..  The links to the candles would get buried in the threads, and unless they were constantly bumped up, everyone had to search for them.   I was thinking to perhaps put the links on the first post of the thread, which would work for MP, but not for those individuals in need of prayer and candle and of course making threads.   And then Gramamonkey said she wished a mod would start a thread for candles.  That got the ball rolling.  Light bulb moment... Time to make it happen. Klaasend is the one that really made it happen.  I hope the Candle area will be a place  where all  monkeys will feel welcome and  come for thoughts and prayers in their time of need, and for us to be able to be able to light a candle to help light their way on their journey.

Thanks to all who had a hand in making this thread..I see it was a team effort.  What a  great idea, as I so wanted to keep up with the candles, but didn't have the time to search for the links.

BTW - Good morning monks.

Maybe not just a SM glitch but a net glitch. Oh those are so much fun.

SeaMonkey - if you don't log into SM and you are reading as a guest, photos that people upload directly from their PC may not be visible to you.  You may only be able to view photos that are posted from photobucket.  Just an FYI
