Will that interfere with any virus scan or ad blocker you have downloaded on your computer?

No. You have to have everything closed. The only little pain for me is that it does not remeber the banking number card thingie passwords. Or the card numbers. I run it frequently.
Also defrag is a good thing, but sometimes it is slow, so I do it when I know for sure I am not going to be on for a while.

BTW, anyone else having LOTS of trouble with getting pages to load? For some reason this evening I can't surf, post, load anything except if I refresh it and it is slooooooow.... I am using IE and Firefox and both the same, tried another PC and the same. I am wondering if my ISP might be having problems?

What provider do you think is having the problems.  I can look to see if I can find out anything about it.

How did you do this?  In the Options, the last tab on the right gives a list of things but most look like little squiggles and stars.     Did you remove all of those except the one that says .temp or .tmp or did you just check that box at the top?  I hate to have my passwords removed as I can't remember half of them and if I write them down, I usually don't put what it is the password to so no help.  Need to de a better job of record keeping.

ANNA - When you open CCleaner, click on the Options button then on Cookies.  It's there that you can choose websites who's cookies you want to keep.  I have about 15 websites there.  You want to do this before you run CCleaner and you only have to add them once.  If you run CCleaner right now and go to that Cookies option, there won't be any websites there to choose from because you just deleted all the cookies.  Does that make sense?

The left side will be all cookies and you move to the right websites who's cookies you want to keep.  That will save your passwords for those sites.

Anna - When I make something a favorite, I make user name and password part of the name I give it. Except for ultra sensitive stuff, of course (I have only 2 sites that I REALLY have to remember).

What about having a plain old wood stove?  How much does a cord of wood cost where you are?  Open fireplaces are great but the best heat comes from a woodstove.
I have a dual energy furnace that uses electricity but switches to oil when it gets really cold or it can be switched to only electricity or only oil.  
My tips for surviving winter driving:
-keep your car fuel tank full so the fuel line doesn't freeze.
-never take your foot completely off the gas pedal to slow down - you can start fishtailing.
-buy the best snow tires you can.  We call "all season tires" - 3 season tires.
-drive slower.

wood stoves are great, i just dont like the cutting, splitting, stacking
