Another interesting relative of Dompig is Boeti Naar (sp) but he is a brother-in-law and not a brother.  He is, however, fully capable of having "visions" and you may recall was apparently allowed to do his Peeping Tom activities on the girls sharing a room with Natalee, etc. and was at least one of the ones who supposedly "knew" of a cocaine connection, etc.  Only in Aruba would this person be considered a source of reliable information.

Low Rise Visibility Team Kick Off Party At Amsterdam Manor

Aruba’s Hospitality & Security Foundation, an organization sponsored by Aruba’s private and public sector - a joint venture between the hotels and the island’s police force - just celebrated another landmark at a sunset cocktail party on Eagle beach at Amsterdam Manor. Chief Atalo Winklaar at the helm of the friendly brigade, introduced his low rise team, the expansion of AH&SF, as promised.
Aruba Hospitality & Security Foundation was formed by Aruba’s tourism partners to provide assistance to the local Police Force. The idea was to create a visibility team patrolling the Palm Beach area, helping secure nine resorts and their environs. The visibility team took to the beaches in December of 2002.

Effective March 1st, it is also adding the low-rise areas to include on-foot patrols, ATVs and motorised vehicles, spanning the stretch from Brickell Bay to Divi Village.

Rob Smith, General Manager, Wyndham Aruba Hotel & Casablanca Casino is the chairman of the AHSF board. He is joined by Jan Van Nes, Playa Linda, Tom Wolf, Hyatt Regency and Carlos Aquino, Holiday Inn. The hoteliers, members of the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association who provides the funding, interchange ideas and share team operational responsibility with Martin Molina, Pelican Watersposrt, retired immigration chief Roland Peterson and Police Commissioner Gerold Dompig.

In the pictures, the team Kick Off, welcomed by Aruba’s Minister of Justice Rudy Croes, the Minister of Tourism Edison Briezen, AHATA CEO Horace Hord and program coordinator Marcia Grobman.

That was Theodore "Vader" van Loon that Beth encountered, different first names but possibly related?

I have to go back through my notes.. But he is a local beach party bum who was questioned and that photo is him getting off a boat headed for the Soul Beach Festival which many people viewed from boats so they could party drink and do drugs without police bothering them.
Sandrak referred to him as having a face like a horse.. Both SandraK AND Scubjap referred to him as a party-boy and drug user. 
His name was van cromfort and I could be wrong on the spelling..
