What happened. Am I missing something?  Did something happen?
Your selling your Dad's things ?

Deenie, yes my Mom is finally ready to sell my Dad's tools, etc.  My brother wanted none of it and told her to get a huge dumpster and toss it all.  My sons have each taken something to remember him by, so the rest of what she was ready to deal with is going up in a garage sale tomorrow and Friday.

For your Mother it's prob for her too much for her to see all of his things GO at once. For others it is just junk and stuff and clutter. ( not you or your son's) but others see it that way.
Maybe if you take Mom aside and let her privately go through all the stuff and tell her to PICK one thing that is really meaningful .. that she can take and put in a special place. Maybe that would help her. I don't know.

It was the big arse table saw tonight.  She was fine when I was crawling under a heater dragging out the band saw almost braining myself on the heater.  I hope she leaves the table saw in the garage, can not imagine how to disguise it as furniture in the living room.   She was also putting things in drawers when she thought I was not looking so I know she has other stuff put away.  I hope it was not something like a flare gun .  Sorry if my humour is seems off, but I have to try to find funny in tonight and the next two days.

She could put a table clothe on it and add a few plants and a couple pics and no one would know.

  Not yet, but it is under consideration.  I have a very full day tomorrow, I am making breakfast, lunch and dinner.  I should be quite full by than.

Well Deenie I think I am going to call it a night also. Still packing up stuff so daughter and grand kids have a place to put their things. Trying to figure out how to get what I am not packing and putting in shed into my BR. Have a good Thursday
