I HATE organizing closets!!

It makes me look at all the clothes that don't fit anymore!!!!   

That is a hard one.  I gave all my small clothes that I barely wore to my DIL's mother.  I look at her when she wears them and can't believe I ever fit in them.  It was only about 5 years ago I wore them.

I think the more rooms we have the more we hold onto.  I'd still have the small clothes I gave away if I had somewhere else to put them.  And a whole lot of other stuff too.

Yep, I got my hours sleep!  How about you, you were falling asleep on the phone just about  ..........Sorry, hi Monkeys.........

The old brain just started going so got up and started emptying my closet, trying to make room for all the stuff from the other closets.

Wish I could help.  I love consolidating.  It seems every few years my apts get smaller and smaller.  I have to play what to throw out and how to make it fit. 

I swear I just got everything where I wanted it and all that. Emptying one room would be easy but two is something else again. The room my grandsons will use I have to take everything out. I love them dearly but they are Hell on wheels. When they were here with us 2 summers ago, youngest one broke Babs scissors. I am talking broke one blade in half. We still have no idea how he did it. 

That was 2 years ago...........Imagine his strength now......Seriously, GE.....your home IS NOT "J" proof in any sense of the word!

Tell us about your grand babies, you don't need any props for that. Seriously how are they doing? How old are they now?

Thanks for asking GE.  There is just no way to express how cute they are.  The cuteness just envelopes me.  They are seven months old.  My step father taught the boy to do boing boing, (bouncing him up and down in his arms).  Now every time I see him he gives me the wanna boing boing smile.  It's very tiring to do but he smiles from ear to ear so I do as many boings as I can  .  The girl who we call poodie and moon bear is also the cutest thing I ever saw.  There just are no words.   

It is hard to believe they are 7 months all ready. Don't those smiles just melt your heart. Mine use to like to swing, or when they got older to ride in their wagon. The hours spent swinging and pulling but I loved every minute of it. Enjoy them all you can.

Funny............... I loose weight and eagerly give the larger clothes away, but boy do I hang on to the little ones! I'm going to have to start using them as foot warmers!

Both GE & I moved half way across the country, when she helped me pack, I had our collection of "stuff", a lot of my parents "stuff".........and over 60 years worth of "stuff" my MIL & FIL had collected......Hubby wouldn't let go of even a single screw driver that belonged to Daddy, been here 4 years and he has yet to open even one of the "many" containers that we drug out here........YARD SALE TIME.......will just tranq him for a few days!

The three that are coming here are 15 year old girl, almost 13 year old boy and 8 year old boy. Fun fun fun!

When I was emptying out one of the closets way in the back I found stuff (little) with tags still on them. That might fit half of me

I KNOW! It took me 2 years to let go of Mom's clothes, and I still have a few of Daddy's shirts. For the longest time, there was one that I could still smell the wonderful (to me) mix of starch and tobacco in. From the time I was a kid sitting on his lap, that smelled like Daddy to me.

I still have all kinds of things from Mom, Dad, Granny and things they kept from their early childhood too. What do you do with it all???
