Muffy Bee, I don't know how to bring in quotes yet. In regards to teen driving, I never thought that mail boxes could get as close to the passenger window as they appeared when riding with my teens.

Good morning carolb    Oh yes, I am finding out all about mail boxes

To use the quote function:  If there is a post you want to quote, go to that post and choose/click on quote in the tabs on the right hand side of the post box.  You should then see the quote.  Scroll down (return) a couple of spaces after you see the last [quote/] and then start your message.  Then you can hit preview to look at what you've posted and then hit post.  Or if you're feeling confident or in a hurry, hit post.  Here is a link to the Test Area in the Monkey Lounge you can go to for practice:

http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=1924.msg256421#msg256421
I tested the quote.  Thanks for the help Muffy.  What if it begins to stack and you only need the last 1 or 2?

Hi, carolb....I read your question and followed your test in the Monkey Lounge with a post leaving just the last two posts.  If you look at your post using the Quote button, then look at mine doing the same, you will see what I removed to minimize the quotes.  I am hoping if you see it, that it will be easier than my trying to spell it all out.  Here is a link to my test post.

LOL regarding driver's permit.  I've got about 9 more years until my son gets there but he reminds me of it EVERY DAY! Asking questions about driving, learning the rules etc.  He can't wait.  I told him that we'll blink and it will be here!

Canlelighting Monkeys, sometimes on the gratefulness site, when I light a candle it asks me if I want to send to a friend -- when it asks me this my candle seems to light fairly soon.  If it doesn't ask, my candle never lights.  What am I doing wrong?  Puter illeriate asking here.

I always click on the wick of the candle to make it light.  I'm not a "candle" expert by any means but that is what I do.

WATCH these cheeky monkeys go bananas at their own private pool party.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2553856/Monkeys-throw-a-party-in-a-private-swimming-pool.html (video @ link)

The naughty primates love monkeying around in the water.

At least seven of them go ape as they run around the edge of the pool, barging in to each other.

A few of them even jump in for an underwater swim.

The camerawoman filming their antics giggles and suggests the monkeys indulge in a cocktail or two.

Banana margaritas, anyone?

Woman found dead after fraud investigation

AMMON - The woman responsible for creating an online fraud involving the Livestrong foundation has been found dead in her car.

Meet 15-year-old Jonathan Jay White. A young boy from Ammon, Idaho fighting for his life against brain cancer. The boy blogs of his optimism and strength, having swooned the hearts of many across the world including donations of generous funds.

The world now knows him as 24-year-old Melissa Rice. The woman behind the cancer, the blogs, and all the lies.

Recently Lance Armstrong, the boy's major contributor with the Livestrong Foundation, received disturbing news. Rice confessed there was no little boy and there was definitely no cancer patient.

Bonneville County Sheriff's office served a search warrant to Rice's house Tuesday. They didn't find her, but found tons of donations and celebrity memorabilia.

A day later, police found Rice dead in her car five miles south of Henry's Canyon.

"It's a tragic situation all around for victims family and any body who donated stuff. Its just a terrible situation," Sgt. Doug Metcalf, Bonneville County Sheriff's Office.

At this point there's no telling why Rice made up the boy and we may never know.

Due to her death, the prosecutor's office has dropped all charges. Police are asking for your help for any clues in this ongoing investigation.

if you have information please call the bonneville detectives office at 529-1375.

Hey All!

The Twilight cake is in my cake thread! Hope you all like it, I'm so tired & I have another to do tomorrow. Going to rest up now, Love you all

Hi Cutie!

Do you think you could put a link to your cake thread in your signature line?  This way those who are curious but shy can look at those beautiful cakes and drool along with the rest of us.  Why should we suffer alone?

I don't mean to be dense but you do or don't like smoked meat? Me myself and I don't care for it. But it's a big thing here in Texas.

Ku gets her stitches out tomorrow. She was due today, but I couldn't get away. I haven't heard a thing about the labs, but they should have them tomorrow. I hope they got it all!

Retro-bear is wondering about Ku.

CBB so what do you think Cindy will show up in court wearing? Caylee thread is betting on her wearing green and lots of cheap jewelry.

Her warm, winning charm, for sure..............    Rolling Eyes

I think the only time Cindy gets that warm feeling is when her Depends fail.

I HATE organizing closets!!

It makes me look at all the clothes that don't fit anymore!!!!

Organizing closets is one of my favorite things.  It's the rest of the house that gets me...
