Something for us older monkeys to think about. 

The people who are starting college this fall were born in 1991.

They are too young to remember the space shuttle blowing up.

Their lifetime has always included AIDS.

The CD was introduced two years before they were born.

They have always had an answering machine.

They have always had cable.

Jay Leno has always been on the Tonight Show.

Popcorn has always been microwaved..                 

They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.

They don't know who Mork was or where he was from...

They never heard: 'Where's the Beef?', 'I'd walk a mile for a Camel ', or 'de plane Boss, de plane'.

 

McDonald's never came in Styrofoam containers.

They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.

Pass this on to the other old fogies on your list.

My next door neighbor is lighting up his smoker for the weekend - OMG!!!!  That's just not right.

I don't mean to be dense but you do or don't like smoked meat? Me myself and I don't care for it. But it's a big thing here in Texas.

Canlelighting Monkeys, sometimes on the gratefulness site, when I light a candle it asks me if I want to send to a friend -- when it asks me this my candle seems to light fairly soon.  If it doesn't ask, my candle never lights.  What am I doing wrong?  Puter illeriate asking here.
 

I always click on the wick of the candle to make it light.  I'm not a "candle" expert by any means but that is what I do. 

I do that too, but I'm not sure why it doesn't always light at some point.  Anyone?

IDK Sister.  Many monkeys have had issues with it lighting and also with them staying lit for the full 48hrs.

Sometimes I have inadvertently tried to light the candle before clicking on the word continue.  So double check that you click on "continue"

We having a great time!!  I have bearly seen my daughter!     She and her friend have a lot of energey and have been at the water parks then they have teen night until 12:00.

She says she wiil spend some time with us tomorrow at the beach - I am sure so we can rent them wave runners!!

That's cool they have teen night.  She is growing up fast nice she still goes with Mom and Dad though.  I love the slot machines but some nights can be so bad moneys gone in no time.  How's the weather holding up?  I almost feel like I'm there with you.

It rained today for a few but not long!  The hotel is full and we couldn't get an upgrade.  I hate the weekends!!
