You could also try drying off the feet when they come inside with something like a Shamwow or microfiber cloth, something real absorbent, if the feet are wet from the dew or rain.

I havce an external hard drive and am trying to get up the nerve to transfer files to this lap top but am skeered to do it, afraid it will mess it up or cause it to crash, etc.

Anyone ever done that before?

No, I always got mine a summer short cut.  Now that I just have one, it is medium.  I think they are hot with the very long coat in summer.  But with just one, I think I will let it grow just to see how she looks as she has never had a full lengh coat before and is really pretty dog.

I need some tips on housebreaking a puppy, I dont think  Kieby is getting the hang of it at all and Ive never had a inside dog before so it might be me, someone help...

I saw some avatar switching going on in here the other night.  Believe it or not, that has happened before, long ago, lol.

There was another site that covered Natalee called Rheil World View and it was like the Front Page here, comments section and people could sign in as others or someone else and did all the time.  Would make you crazy.

Wreck, if you are still here, remember Mrs. Jimi Hendricks?  LOL!  Some real characters back then.

Also the site owner would behave VERY strangely late at night and then delete his own posts or those of others he didn't approve of.

Instead of transferring the files you can simply hook your external drive up to the laptop when you want and access the files that way. 

Sort of depends upon the size hard drive and memory you laptop has.  Likely your laptop has plenty for any files you may have on your external and it shouldn't be a problem transferring them.

I had MAJOR battles with "Mrs. Jimi Hendricks". Who also claimed she was married to Don Henley of the Eagles (from Dallas)!!  She is also the one who thought I was a female. I was only a "front page" poster at SM until the forum here re-formed in May '06 after "the crash". I used to post with Anna at RWV the first year!

Sorry HH it's been so long since I have had a dog. Have you tried taking him out as soon as he finishes eating.

I would hope choices would come up on screen and ask me which file I wanted to access?  That might be better.  Lappie has large hard drive and would hold the files.  Just not sure I need 500 dollz and such on it.

 


Thanks, I think I would not be as skeered to try that.  I don't want to change the settings as my tech support guy won't tell me how to make wireless connection myself.  He has to come here in person and do it for some odd reason.  Guess he doesn't trust me iwth security code or something.  I think since it is wireless, I could connect all the apartments without their paying or some mysterious reason he won't tell me how to do it myself.  He has to physically be here and type some secret into my computer!
