There seems to be a lot of info there on the Health Care debate

Yes, and people need to know this and understand. for instance:

- you can be denied healthcare because you are too old or too sick and 'no longer a contributor of society:"
- people with terminal illnesses will not be guaranteed healthcare because they “do not contribute to society"
- you really don’t get to choose your own healthcare.   everyone gets moved to an HMO within 5 years – even if you are on an employer’s program.
- if you are receiving medicare or  medicaid, you will be required to visit a health counselor every 5 years.  They will provide information to you on how to end your life legally. page 425 of the document!! read it.

This makes me sick thinking about it.  We have to understand and act now.

end of soap box.

Hi Bearly, I am sitting here, reading back and laughing.  Another crazy night in the cage.  Monkey Devil!

Hugs, Magic

I cannot take my eyes off your puppy each time you post.  I also love your signature line and think about it often, especially when it seems like no one is listening.

I am glad you laugh with the Musings Gang.  Each person has his/her own contribution to make in our cage.  It is nice that you recognize Musings as a place to go.  I think it is important to laugh and relax your soul after a long day in the cage or even a quick peek at all the tragedy.  It helps some posters come back even when there is no new news, I have been told.

So laugh, get re-charged and live to fight the good fight for another day.

Blessings!

Bearlyhere

PS  I love MT in case you were wondering, I was j/k her.

Hi Bearly, sorry it has taken me so long to respond to your post.  Things have been crazy around here.  I am sewing for a *real* nursery for my *real* granddaughter due at the end of August.

Thank you for the comments about my puppy and my sig line.  My poor puppy is at the groomer right now, I am sure he is not a happy camper, lol.  The house is so empty without him.  My husband just pointed out, that even when Casper isn't here, I still save a spot for him on my recliner.  I am so used to hugging one side, that I do it automatically, lol.

Ok, here I go, need to read back, I am sure I have missed some good stuff.

Hugs, Magic

                                 GENTLE THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

Birds of a feather flock together and then crap on your car.

A penny saved is a government oversight.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

He who hesitates is probably right.

Did you ever notice: The Roman Numerals for forty (40) are  XL.'

If you think there is good in everybody, you
haven't met everybody.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.  For example I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells 'Theirs....'

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way.  I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to your youth, think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.

One of the many things no one tells you about aging is that it is such a nice change from being young. Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

Lord, keep your arm around my shoulder and your hand over my mouth . . . . . . . . . AMEN!
