Thanks mt, Klaas, ANJ & JSM ...  I think they were mixed too.  The guy we got them from years ago said they were cur dogs and we never knew what that meant.   This does looks like the light yellow one.

Hi GE ... still trying to catch up on my reading all over the board.  I read you have a house full now.
Mine have all been gone since last Friday, I was happy for one day & then house was so quiet I couldn't stand it.  Can't wait till they get back tomorrow.

Oh man, that really scares me. I've lived in this neighborhood since I was three, and only in the past few years have we had any bear. 2nj? Don't they make you nervous? I'm scared of the bucks during rutting season........... they really do get aggresive, but I'd face a dozen of them before I'd face a bear!

Glad you are feeling better. Hubby & I were sitting on the porch tonight enjoying the night sounds and just as we got up tp come in a skunk started up the porch steps, when it saw us it took off running down the drive & away. All I can say is thank God he got scared and ran and didn't try and spray.

Hey guys - I know this belongs in the prayer thread, but you guys are my furr-people.  My teacup poodle is in liver failure.  She is at the Emergency vet on IV's for the night.  At 7am I have to pick her up to take her to the reg vet for several more days of iv fluid to flush toxins and see if she can recover.  If she doesn't respond to flushing they will do biopsy.  So, Please, Please say a prayer for my baby.

Hey guys - I know this belongs in the prayer thread, but you guys are my furr-people.  My teacup poodle is in liver failure.  She is at the Emergency vet on IV's for the night.  At 7am I have to pick her up to take her to the reg vet for several more days of iv fluid to flush toxins and see if she can recover.  If she doesn't respond to flushing they will do biopsy.  So, Please, Please say a prayer for my baby.

[b]STUPID QUESTION [/b] I don't know anything about video recorders. My sister recorded me on one yesterday and she gave me what looks like a cassette tape. Does anyone know how to get that cassette downloaded to a DVD/CD so I can download it to my computer? TIA JSM

  Sorry Sunny. My bad. My Time answered me though. I need the recorder doo dad and the USB cord. Wish I would have known that at the time, I would have told her to bring it all at the time.

  I don't have the doo dad recorder, my sister just said "here" and gave me the cassette. I wonder if I go to a camera place, they could do it for me, because between me and my sister, it ain't gonna work. 

Maybe she is jealous because you can skate.....

OMG - I feel so blessed by all of you thinking about my baby.  It was a long sleepless night.  Picked her up at the emergency vet at 7:15 am took her straight to her regular vet.  Just got home.  He is running more blood work.  Is going to do an ultrasound first.  Her bilirubin is also elevated - so he is looking at gall bladder or stones as possible underlying reason for the liver failure.  If ultrasound doesn't show a reason he will move on to needle biopsy of liver.  We are still in the investigative stage - but she is so sad and mama knows she feels bad and mama's heart is breaking at not being able to help and at the though of losing her.
I will say this - there were a few years of my life that were hell on earth and if it had not been for her - I would not have gotten out of bed in the morning.  She literally saved my life.  She was my only reason to want to carry on during those hard time.  Her and faith got me through.  She is a sensitive, spiritual doggie. A gift from heaven.
Before I get all mushy - I want to thank Trimm, muffy, sassy, sunny-n-tx and norose for all the prayers and support.

And the horrible part is the animal doesn't understand that, them being at the vet, you are only trying to help them, that always breaks my heart.
