Ok, in case anyone cares, I called my friend from Alaska.  She wants to go to Splish Splash with her kids and wants me to come too.    I said, nah it's too hot, I can't take the heat.  She said, "it's really hot for me coming from Alaska".  I said I would go...but...now....I don't want to.  Any suggestions??   

How old are her kids?  Drop them off and you two go to lunch.

13 and 10.  She said "oh we can sit around and talk while their on the rides".  Monkey no no.  I hate waiting for lines in the heat.   

I know exactly how you feel.

BTW, are you still smoking?

All have climbed into their sleeping bags, but oldest granddaughter. Found out sons are staying until Monday. So will get to spend some time with them

My son said if the girl is too young you can't leave her.  And my friened thinks they'll let me in for free if I say I'm not going on the rides.  I really doubt that.
