Before ANYBODY takes offense......................  I have mild dyslexia, and spent many years tutoring children with dyslexia. No harm intended. It's a joke, that's all.

Hi MaryMary,
I am fine. My boys left for home today. Spent the day cleaning up and watching daughter arrange stuff in her and the boys rooms. How are you doing?

I'm good spent most the day with Scooter and Poodie (AKA Grands).    There should be a law our kids can't move more than 5 miles from parents.

I agree!

On that note, I was flabergasted to learn from an employee today that our school system doesn't allow kids to bring ANYTHING sweet to school. Not even in their own lunch if they bring it instead of buy it there.

WTH????

Wouldn't it be cool to build a pyramid of cheerleaders in a post!?

It would jump and disappear!

Okay go for it. Took the family down to the stock yards in Fort Worth yesterday. It was so hot!!!!! I got sick and had to fond a place in one of the stores to sit down and cool off. They got to see the long horns they drive down main street and watch once of the shows they put on with bad guys and the town marshall.  Monkey Devil!

Have you all ever heard of such a thing? Her son had his first day of school today (kindergarten). He can't bring a cookie in his lunch!

I suppose you drop off your parental status at the door! Oh, it wouldn't do for me to be a Mom of a kindergarten child today.............. nope, it just wouldn't do at all!

WTH is right. They started that out in Calif a couple years ago. Even stopped birthday cakes for the childrens birthdays. Like that is going to stop people from being heavy. Crazy is what it is.

If there's a high heat index around here, it's always humid too. That's a real killer combo!

I know that childhood obesity is a problem, but I'd like to be the parent, thank you. I take that responsibility seriously and I'd much prefer they take their responsibilty of teaching just as seriously. I'll teach my child about sex, religion, and social skills, they can teach the reading and math.
