News Junkie Question for You ... I hope your still here.

What do you think about Mom who was driving under the influence who drove South on a North bound Freeway .. and killed herself and 7 others. (  her own child/nieces and the others she hit head on )

Why is Husband in denial? Does this have to due with Insurance Policy's .. I have no clue how that works.  Seems screwy for him to stand defiant that he has never seen his wife drink nor use pot.

The bottle was found at the scene.  Lots of folks are closet drinkers and prescription abusers and the spouse is often the last to know.  I think he is in denial - first stage of grief.

In regards to Insurance and Diane Schuler .. If she is convicted * even dead.

To protect himself " Hubby" against Civil Suits ...is that why he is standing " She never Drank nor used Pot" within his knowledge. His brother in law may not sue him, but the family that was in the other vehicle surely will... go after someone.

I think this. I think that she  (possibly Hubby was sleeping early the night before) at the Camp site/ground SHE had a really good time that night ( night before) and she woke up still Drunk .. or didn't even sleep. So she smoked a J .. to get herself UP to drive the kids ..and she just FAILED Miserably ... ( the bottle of Vodka the Van too .. how can Hubby Deny that? )

For the Husband to be so blatantly ignorant of his wife's behaviors tells a bigger story.
Its so disgustingly sad - All of it.
