I had a c-section.  It has been my observation that recoop from a c-section can sometimes be faster than a normal delivery.   

Klaas, I am so glad you were happy with your C-section and recovery.  My daughters first was an emergency, they were losing his heartbeat, I had about 15 minutes to get to the hospital.  It was a nightmare and she had a lot of pain to deal with.  The second was scheduled too early and the baby had a lot of feeding issues.  They almost had to put her back in the hospital for failure to thrive.  She once again had the pain to deal with and another baby at home.  Now she just wants a chance at natural birth, she is a lot more calm about this than I am.  As she always says, I have always been too over protective.  The doctor has already told her that it can end up in a C-section, if she fails to progress or if other problems arise.  I was just so set to have it on a known day and know all of the details.  This time God decides when she goes into labor so I guess, I will just have to leave it in his hands.  I just can't wait for the end of this month to get here.  My arms are aching to hold her.
